October Trip Day 1 Phisanu Lok Decided to escape from Bangkok to Petchaboon on last Wednesday. The plan was taking only one day off on Monday and skip working half day on Friday shhhhhh . We headed to toll way right on time as planned, 11.11am. Good timing eh? I was a little bit concerned about the rain, but we were lucky it wasn’t rain at all for the whole trip. Got off toll way and turned right at Wang Noi to Ayudhaya . The traffic is still okay so far. Along the way there’re many shops ,selling snacks and hammock. I used to check the price of Water Hyacinth hammock at Chatuchak before. It’s about B1000 something. But this one is only B350 and it’s good to help local people. Who’s doing a hard work here??? After 2 hours and a half driving (at 120kms/hr speed) we reached Nakorn Sawan and then we turned right to Phisanu Lok. The road has changed here from 4 lanes to 2 lanes. The scenery has changed as well. You can see how green it is along the way. I booked a room for one night here at Rain Forrest Resort. It’s around 45 KMS from Phisanu Lok downtown. We actually passed the resort when I saw the sign because the entrance looks just like part of a jungle. Here’s a walk way inside Rain Forrest. Room No.14, Stream View. Only B1440 / night. Bed room with a big balcony. This is what I like the most, Bathroom!! View from our balcony, Khek Stream. Taking a rest at the balcony , I ordered Ko Gai Tod and Coke. It’s very good. I even thought about asking them for recipe.hehe We had dinner at the village nearby resort at Krua Sub Prai Wan. The shopkeeper we stopped by for some beers had recommended us. He said the owner used to work as a chef at Sub Prai Wan resort but now he quit and starts running his own restaurant. I won’t call it a restaurant actually. It’s more like a food shop but the food is good and cheap. We ordered 4 dishes and it cost us only B250. It’s only 7 o’clock but it’s damn dark and quiet so after dinner we went back to enjoy Shisha at our room. Here’s the entrance of the resort at night.
