Green Sleeves เป็นบทเพลงรัก Ballad โบราณของอังกฤษ เชื่อกันว่า ประพันธ์โดย พระเจ้าเฮนรี่ที่แปด กษัตริย์แห่งราชวงศ์ทิวดอร์ พระราชบิดาของ พระนางแมรี่ (แมรี่สีเลือด) และ สมเด็จพระราชินีนาถอลิซาเบธ ที่ 1 ว่ากันว่า พระเจ้าเฮนรี่ พระราชนิพนธ์เพื่อนางอันเป็นที่รักของพระองค์ คือ เลดี้ แอนน์ โบลีน ซึ่งต่อมาคือพระราชินีองค์ที่สองของพระองค์(เป็นพระมารดาของสมเด็จพระราชินีนาถอลิซาเบธ ภายหลังถูกพระเจ้าเฮนรี่สั่งประหารเพื่อตั้งราชินีองค์ใหม่)
