Are we take our life for granted????

Haven't update my blog for a while....

Just saw the news about shooting at VT a few minutes ago....very terriffying and very sad..so many people killed!!!

I see people passed away all the time, but most of them are very sick and mostly very old. But when so many young life had been shorten unexpectedly..it's just different and very sad. It brought the memory of one of my patient....a 18-year-old girl who passed away from gunshot wound through the head from drive by shooting. She was just in the wrong palce, at the wrong time. It's was sad story, only good thing that came out of it was that her organs had saved so many life.

Life is too short and we always take thing or people for granted. We all think we are young and healthy and death are too far from us...but who know that it's closer than we thought.

I'm now learning to appreciate a little thing in my life..try to work less and enjoy my life more. I'll tell people I love that I love them. I'll slow down and enjoy the moment. At least, if I have to die today, I will not have any regreat.

My condolescent to families and friends who lost their love one in the VT shooting.

I was stunned and deeply saddened by the news and its tragic consequences....

Too many people killed, litterally in their classrooms.

Nothing can be done much in this opened society. Gun control policy might be a major major cause of this tragedy.
