Gooffy was born on 11-10-2003. He's very healthy dog.Only 1 problem he has is 2008. he had a little operation on his back. he had a big fat ball on his hairy back since he was a puppy. And the fat ball became bigger and bigger ...then he's lick it and bite it day by day ..it's more irritated him. So we decided to go to veterinarian in Emmen on 22th Sep 2008.The doctor operated him in 3 hours . Gooffy very scared and the woond was not closed . He was bleeding and look so sad in his eyes. Doctor suggested to leave him in his place 1 night. we accepted and went home with regretful.Next day we took him back home.He had to take medicine for 2 weeks. I put a pill into a sausage then he can eat it easy, but this pill have side effect . He was throw up every night. I had to clean everymorning.
Today Gooffy is a very lovely dog. I teach him a trick . he's learn how to give hand. he's learn play dead. He's learn play rolling. Next trick I want to make him dance but I'm afraid will not good for his back legs.

Yorkshire Terriers have a fair and balanced temperament for the most part. They are independent and intelligent. They have a spunky nature. Yorkies usually get along well with other pets, even cats. Males tend to be territorial and often do not realize how small they are. It is not uncommon for a threatened Yorkie to attack a much larger animal. Yorkshire Terriors are good with children. The owner should warn children not to poke or harrass their Yorkie as they can nip if irritated. They can be difficult to train due to stubborness. Yorkies, although bred as companion dogs, will on occasion hunt rodents. Health Problems
Yorkshire Terrier are prone to certain disorders and health problems. The most common problem associated with Yorkies are cataracts. Trachea collapse is also very common in the breed. Trachea collapse is partly gentic and partly environment. To avoid trachea collapse it is recommended that an owner uses a harness as oposed to collar when walking their Yorkie. Liver shunt is a genetic disorder common in Yorkshire Terriers. The disorders causes blood to bypass the liver and thus blood is not rid of toxins. Often the liver shunt and and its affects are reversible if caught in the early stages. Exercise
Yorkshire Terriers do not require a great deal of exercise. They are a playful breed but mostly enjoy playing indoors with toys. Short walks outside will suffice. Special Grooming Needs
Yorkshire Terriers look their best when groomed by a professional. They are one of the few breeds that seem to enjoy playing dress up with bows and ribbons. They need to be brushed daily to prevent matting. When bathing a Yorkie you must do so in warm water as water that is to hot will cause pain to their sensitive skin and water that is too cold will live the skin chapped.
