TBR แอบโกงอ่านเล่มที่ไม่ได้อยู่ในลิสต์ได้ไหมคะ Between, Georgia ไม่อยากจะเชื่อเลยว่าเวลาผ่านไปรวดเร็ว อัพบล๊อคครั้งสุดท้ายเมื่อชาติปางก่อน เดือนก.พ. ณ บัด นาว ก็ปาไป มิ.ย.แล้ว อ่านไปหลายเล่มนะ แต่มันไม่ได้อยู่ในลิสต์ที่ตั้งไว้เลยค่ะ แอบโกงได้ป่าวไม่รู้ ทุกเรื่องล้วนแล้วแต่วางไม่ลง อ่านจนจบภายในไม่กี่วัน (มีเวลาอ่านเฉพาะก่อนนอน ตอนกลางวันทำวิทยานิพนธ์) Between, Georgia ของ Joshilyn Jackson อยากจะบอกว่า เล่มนี้เป็นความภาคภูมิใจ ที่ได้มาฟรี ฮิ้ววว จากเอเชียบุ๊คส์ ตอนนั้นจำไม่ได้ว่าซื้อไรมามั่ง แต่เค้าให้เลือกเล่มนึงฟรี ตอนที่เลือกรีบมากๆ เพราะมีนัดต่อ ก็เลยเลือกเล่มนี้เพราะปกน่ารักดีแล้วเล่มก็ไม่เล็กไปไม่ใหญ่เกิน (จริงๆน่าจะเลือกเล่มใหญ่สุดเนอะ เพื่อความคุ้ม อิอิ) Between, Georgia เป็นเรื่องราวของครอบครัวที่วุ่นวายสับสนเอาการค่ะ Nonny Frett เป็นหญิงสาวอายุ 30 ที่มีสองครอบครัว คือครอบครัว Crabtrees ที่เธอสืบเชื้อสาย กับครอบครัว Frett ที่เลี้ยงดูเธอ Nonny เป็นลูกของ Hazel (biological mom) ที่ท้องโดยที่ไม่มีพ่อ แล้วก็แอบดอดมาคลอดที่บ้าน Frett เพราะว่ามีสมาชิกคนนึงเคยเป็นพยาบาลค่ะ เมือง Between ในเรื่องนั้นมีประชาการเพียงแค่ 90 คน เพราะฉะนั้น "Everybody know everything about everyone." Stacia Frett เป็น Foster mother หรือแม่ที่เลี้ยงดู Nonny มา ความผูกพันของทั้งสองเกิดขึ้นตั้งแต่วินาทีแรกที่ Nonny เกิดเพราะ Stacia เป็นคนอ้าแขนรอรับ Nonny แล้วก็คิดที่จะเลี้ยง Nonny เสมือนลูกของตน ประเด็นมันมีอยู่ที่ว่า Stacia เป็นโรค Usher's syndrome คือเกิดมาหูหนวก แล้วพอโตขึ้นเรื่อยๆ ก็จะตามืดบอด (หรือฝ้าฟางนะ) เรื่องนี้มีภาษาน่ารักๆ เกี่ยวกับการสื่อสารระหว่างแม่ลูกนะคะ แล้วก็มีเรื่องการทะเลาะเบาะแว้งระหว่างครอบครัว Frett และ Crabtrees ด้วย อย่าง Stacia นี่ต้องใช้ภาษามือ แล้วก็มี Genny น้องสาว เป็นคนแปลให้ เวลา Nonny โทรหาก็เข้าระบบ CA (ไม่รู้ย่อจากอะไร) ซึ่งจะมี คนพิมพ์ตัวหนังสือไปขึ้นให้ฝั่ง Stacia ได้อ่าน ถึงจะลำบากแค่ไหน Nonny ก็พยายามสื่อสารกับแม่ตลอด (คิดง่ายๆว่าต้องพูดทุกประโยค ลงท้ายด้วย Go ahead เพื่อแสดงว่าจบประโยคแล้ว) ส่วนตัวว่า เรื่องนี้เป็น page turner นะคะ เรื่องก็วุ่นวายเข้าไปอีกเมื่อตัว Nonny เองแต่งงานมีสามีแล้ว ทำท่าจะหย่ากัน แต่ก็ยังนอนด้วยกันอยู่เลย โดยที่มีเพื่อนชายอีกคนนึง ทำท่าเหมือนจะจีบๆ ชอบๆ เธอ เอาเป็นว่า Nonny ต้องแก้ปัญหาล้านแปด ระหว่างเรื่องของตัวเธอเองแล้วก็ครอบครัว Frett ที่มาอ้างว่าอยากได้เธอคืนไปเป็นของตัว (ทั้งๆ ที่ไม่ได้เลี้ยงเองแท้ๆ ) ให้เก้าคะแนนเต็มสิบ เพราะว่า ตอนท้ายๆ เอื่อยนิดหน่อยแต่ก็พอให้อภัยค่ะ   Create Date : 11 มิถุนายน 2551     2 comment Last Update : 12 มิถุนายน 2551 8:53:36 น.     Counter : 413 Pageviews.   Share Tweet

Aoi are living with the American guy, Marv, who is a perfect businessman, smart, tall, handsome, and the most important is He loves her. Marv spoil Aoi by leavin her at home, doing nothing. Aoi job is just waking up at noon, staying in the bath tube in the evening and go for part-time job in a jewelry shop for only three days. When someone complain about too relaxed life of Aoi, Marv said “What’s wrong with that?” Marv treat Aoi like she is his precious (Tesoro)Aoi is the reader she visit the library every week. She portrayed the female who has lots of sensibility of everything. She cares about little things; even the smell of soap after Marv finished showering. Though, the books are paired to sell together in order to get the complete feeling of both Aoi and Junzae. What has been surprised me is “Blue” book becomes the bestseller with the seventh published, while as “Rosso” is still first publishing? Could the gender possibly be the reason? Men would not read this kind of books. Women would buy “Blue” just because they want to know how men think? Reading Rosso gives me some clue about how we live our lives. Are we moving too fast? Slowing down our habit would lead us to enjoy more beautiful thing in this world. When loneliness covers your soul and your heart, what do you do to loose it? Finding someone nearest and dating with him would not be the great idea. You have to know who to love and when would be the perfect time. I did not mention we should wait till the destiny brought us someone accidentally.
