BoscoGurin..Locarno..!! and manymore. Try to finish my trip in Tessin as I still have a lot of trips to share...hehe! As I said from the last topic that I am not busy at the moment...!So I have plenty of time to come here and finish off my Tessin trip. After we felt better.. not sore any more from hiking. Actaully my legs were still sore but can't complain becuase we needed to go out and take advantage of Tessin has to offer. Early morning after breakfast, we drove to Ascona for shopping and sightseeing then we went to Locarno...The biggest town in that area. We went to see a beautiful church of the town...Calls Madonna Delsasso. Here it is. Locarno is the town of the beginnig of Lago Maggiore. On the way we walk to the church...I saw this nice building. Madonna Delsasso Different agle. We walk donw to the city to have lunch and had to take a train to go back to the car....555 I like this tree... on the way walk down from the church. The following day....We went to Valley Maggia just to drive to see things as much as we can. We drove until the end of the road. There was the small village calls Bosco Gurin. It is the only German speaking Village in Tessin. It belived that these people have migrated from the Valais ( Swiss-German speaking part) long time ago to settle here. I like this village a lot. There is something that makes me like it...I don't know why. Have a look at the roof....it is a slate that made of Granite...! Strong roof as I ever seen. Nice wood house. It is very difficult to get to this village....Is it kind of hill tribe village in Thailand....555!!! My Lookpi was so sacred to dirve there as there are so many mountains and sharp coners...!!! Farmhouse...! Cowhouse...555 The last picture for Bosco Gurin. We spent a whole day in Valley Maggia...!! On the way home..We had coffee in the restaurant on the river Maggia. The last day in Tessin....Our intention is to go to Valley Verzasca to see the dam and a nice river... But we were lost...555 As we kept driving on the mountain and end up at a small village calls Monti Motti.....!!!! Anyway we had a cup of coffee and then take a nother hour to drive down to go where we wanted to go....555 Poor us! Here is on the way to Monti Mooti...The end route village on the mountain. From high up we can see Lago Maaiore. The village.. The Isolated village....!!! So old and so far out in the stick....hehehe But I like it a lot. We finished our cup of coffee then we headed to Valley Verzasca... to go to see the dam. Here it is...200 meters high. The Verzasca Reiver...it happend when the snow on the mountains melt and the power of the water could have make anything like this..! The old village in Valley Verzasca...! Kun Tuk.....Yes it is...I was told( from my Lookpi's brother-inlaw) that in Tessin there are a lot of German( real German not Swiss-German) come to buy a property here as the weather is nice and they like to retire here.....!!! hehehe! But Bosco Gurin is the only German( swiss people not German) speaking village in Tessin that migrated from the Vallais ka.
