Reflexive Pronouns (เมื่อประธานและกรรม คือ คนหรือสิ่งเดียวกัน)



วันนี้ผมจะพูดถึง Grammar ก็อย่าเพิ่งเปลี่ยนช่องไปไหนนะครับ ลองดูหัวข้อนี้กันซักนิดก่อน...

ไม่รู้ว่าลืมกันไปหรือยังนะครับ เกี่ยวกับ Reflexive Pronouns (สรรพนามสะท้อน)

เราใช้ Reflexive Pronouns หรือเจ้าสรรพนามสะท้อน เมื่อไหร่?
We use reflexive pronouns when the subject and object of the verb are the same.
ก็คือ
เราใช้ สรรพนามสะท้อนเมื่อ ประธานและกรรมของ กริยาในประโยคนั้นกล่าวถึง สิ่งเดียวหรือคนเดียวกัน

I --> myself
you --> yourself (singular เอกพจน์)
he --> himself
she --> herself
it --> itself
we --> ourselves (ไม่มี เอกพจน์นะครับก็เลยไม่มี ourself)
you --> yourselves (plural พหูพจน์)
they --> themselves (ไม่มี เอกพจน์เช่นเดียวกัน ไม่มี themself)
(แค่นี้พอ ไม่ต้องจำมากครับ)

ตัวอย่างเช่น
John cut himself with a knife while he was cooking.
Are you enjoying yourself!
เธอมีความสุขหรือพอใจในตัวเองหรือเปล่า?
Help yourselves to salad.
ทานสลัดแบบบริการตัวเอง.

ประโยคนี้อย่าสับสนนะครับ
I don't like staying at home by myself. (=alone)
ชั้นไม่ชอบอยู่บ้านคนเดียว
Although Simon is only three years old, he can already dress himself.
แม้ว่า ซิมมอนจะเพิ่ง 3 ขวบ แต่เขาก็แต่งตัวเองได้แล้ว
