Season 1

Series One of the offbeat BBC caper series "Hustle" introduces us to a wily band of con artists - including leader Mickey 'Bricks' (Adrian Lester), Mickey's old mentor Albert (Robert Vaughn), facilitator Ash (Robert Glenister), rookie Danny (Marc Warren), and the gorgeous and seductive Stacie (Jaime Murray). All are diabolically clever, but they share one quality unusual for criminals of this nature: compassion. The principals all use mind tricks and shell games to help people in need. Each con is set up with brilliant invention and vision, and in each case, we watch an unsuspecting mark being led seriously off course by a weakness of character. Schemes in the first season include a stock monitoring ploy and a clever operation to bring a violent casino owner toppling down from his ivory tower, after the thug puts the slick Albert in the hospital.

Created by Tony Jordan and first broadcast in 2004, the series follows a group of con artists who specialise in "long cons" – extended deceptions which require greater commitment, but which return a higher reward than simple confidence tricks.

Plot

An action-packed show blended with humour and intrigue, following the fortunes of a gang of expert con-artists on the loose in London. Hustle follows their fortunes and inter-personal relationships.

Season 2

Hustle: The Complete Season 2 The long con specialists are facing some trying times. Trevor, a short con artist brought into the fold on Danny's insistence, proves to be more trouble than he's worth. Albert thinks he's found a ripe mark in a mercenary poker player but he turns out to be Stacie's ex-husband Jake. Could the gang end up losing much more than money as they watch Stacie fall for him all over again? And, as Mickey's most audacious plan yet - to steal the crown jewels - ends in capture, handcuffs and tears... Could the family be broken up for good?

Season 3

Series 3 of the BBC caper series "Hustle" opens with England's most clever group of con artists (Adrian Lester, Robert Glenister, Robert Vaughn, Jaime Murray and Marc Warren) at an all-time low, situated in Las Vegas, sans any capital. In desperate need of cash, they begin locating the city's most despicable and avaricious citizens, and whipping up a series of brilliant cons to replenish their own assets. Stories this season include Mickey posing as a hotshot record producer and wheedling money from a man whose bratty son wants to be a hip-hop star; an attempt to put the fix on some sketchy bankers with the help of an American recruit who may or may not be trustworthy; and a rivalry between Danny and Mickey that threatens to put a new leader in charge of the group and end Mickey's involvement once and for all.
