..The Richi Puppet is.. considered to be the Master of the performance. Each of his movements lend an atmosphere of solemnity to the performance and style is serious and dignified.
..The Puppet of the God Siva comes next to the Richi. People in general refer to this character as the Bull because the puppet is carved into the image of Siva riding on the Usupharaj Bull. The manipulation of this puppet demands more artistic skill from the performer then do the other figures. For this reason, the performer will display his best skills in controlling this character.
..The Prai Na Bot is.. a puppet depicting the character of a young man carrying a flag or a lotus flower in his hand. He represents on certain issues to the audience.
..The Clown: each shadow play company has a clown by the name of " Teng " and he is presented side by side with another comic charcter whose name is Nui. The Clown has a dark comolexion, a broad forehead with a retreating hairline, kinky hair and the look of a hornbill. Not only is he funny and wild but he also loves to tease.
