Art Garfunkel sings lullaby

เพิ่งกลับมานั่งย้อนเวลาค่อยๆฟังงานของ Art Garfunkel หลังจากที่ Art แยกทางกับ Paul Simon ในปี 1971
สิ่งที่พบคือในงาน solo ของ Art มีงานเพลง lullaby และเพลงสำหรับเด็กอยู่หลายเพลงทีเดียว แต่ละเพลงเป็นเพลงที่แอบซ่อนไม่ได้โด่งดังอะไร เหมือนต้องตั้งใจฟังถึงจะเพราะ แล้วก็ต้องไปหาถึงจะเจอเลยอยากเอามาแบ่งกันฟังกันค่ะ
ผลงาน solo ของ Art ถือว่ามีน้อยชุดมากนานๆทำทีแล้วก็ดูเหมือนเป็นงานที่คนทำใจรักจะทำมากกว่าจะเอาใจคนตลาด

ในปี 1997 Art ทำ album ที่เรียกว่าเป็น family project โดยทำตอนที่ลูกคนแรกยังเล็กและแรงบันดาลใจในการทำก็มาจากลูกนั่นเอง อัลบัมนี้ชื่อ Songs From a Parent to a Child
ภรรยาและลูกของ Art มาร่วมร้องด้วยบางเพลง
อัลบัมนี้ได้ถูกเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัลแกรมมี่สาขาเพลงเด็กเมื่อครั้งกระโน้นด้วย

อีกเพลงในอัลบัมเดียวกัน แค่ฟังชื่อก็ง่วงแล้ว Dream land ฟังแล้วหลับสบาย


ก่อนหน้านี้ในอัลบัมเดี่ยวชุดแรก (Angl Clare 1973) Art ก็มีเพลง lullaby และเพลงเด็กรวมอยู่ด้วยทั้งๆที่ตอนนั้นยังไม่มีลูก สงสัยจะรักเด็ก
