Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, michael Dell, Charles Schwab, Richard Branson (Virgin Megastores)
Your articles about CEO capital, HR competence are very much impressive. However, I have some doubts regarding implementation or practical approach about HR development for small companies. For example, the company was in financial restrictions, we could not able to recruit such capable staffs e.g. candidates who have adequate work experiences because these people also need higher incentives and benefits. Meanwhile, the company do not have its own knowledge to train new graduates to be competent. As a result, It is able to acquire only new graduates as they are not costly , but these graduates could not contribute much to company interest because they do not know the way to do the job effectively. Only work on trial - error basis. I realize that these were contradiction in HR capital development and result in family-business style management finally. If you have any other ideas, please enlighten me.
Great to hear the fact from you. So, I'd like to regret that I'm too late respond. By the way, I think the first thing about this problem is a pay dilemma.
But some of my friends have been a family -business and they had turned this problem to opprtunities such as; -They used a friendly style management -They looked after all evrythings that made the Em happy to work
Moreover, I think the last thing that I'd like to tell with you " The money will be a good motivation for Ems in the short term " but, in the long term I think it should be apply that I've mention above.
