The National Costume competitions of Miss Earth 2008 was held last night, Oct 28 at PAGCOR Grand Theatre in Paranaque City.

All of 85 candidates participated in the competition with Miss Panama winning the coveted Best in National Costume Award. Philippines Karla Paula Henry was adjudged Miss Photogenic, Karla was unanimously chosen by the members of the press who attended the press presentation earlier in the morning.

Other special awardess are Miss Greece who snares 2 awards- Miss Micu Confidence and Joel Cruz Signature Award, Miss Afionado was Miss Tanzania, face of Placenta was won by Miss Venezuela and Face of the Night went to Miss Colombia.
