My first solid food

หลังจากที่รอคอยมานาน ในที่สุด สาวน้อยแองจี้ มีนาก็ได้ฤกษ์กินข้าวกะเค้าซะที ตอนแรกตั้งใจว่าจะให้ครบหกเดือนก่อน ค่อยกิน แต่พอไปอ่านบทความว่า เมื่อใหร่ที่ควรจะให้อาหารเสริมกับลูก เค้าบอกให้ดูพัฒนาการเด็ก ว่า ถ้าลูกนั่งเองได้ หัวตั้งตรง (อาหารมันจะได้ลงกระเพาะง่ายๆ) เมื่อใหร่ที่ลูกเริ่มทำปากเคี้ยวขมุบ ขมิบ เริ่มมองเวลาเรากินแล้วพยายามจะแย่ง อืมมมม ลูกชั้นเข้าข่ายหมดเลยอ่ะ เอาเป็นว่า เริ่มกินวันนี้เลยนะลูก 19-09-09

Actually I would like to wait till 6 months before i start Solid food for Angela...however, after i find information from many website i think Angela is ready to move beyond liquid-only nourishment. Cues to look for include:

• Head control. She is able to keep her head in a steady, upright position.

• Losing the "extrusion reflex." To keep solid food in her mouth and then swallow it.

• Sitting well when supported. Even if she's not quite ready for a highchair, she is able to sit upright to swallow well.

• Chewing motions.

• Significant weight gain.

• Growing appetite. she seems hungry

• Curiosity about what you're eating. she begin eyeing my bowl of rice or reaching for a forkful of fettuccine as it travels from my plate to my mouth.

So today i decided to feed Angela with Nestle Cerelac, first step
it contain of Wheat & Milk plus DHA :-)

อาหารมื้อแรกของหนู ใช้เวลาเตรียมนานมาก ประมาณ 2 นาที ตักใส่ถ้วย เอาน้ำใส่ คนๆๆๆ

She really love to eat ...Yummy Yummy
อ้ำ... คำแรก.. ติดใจเลย

ฮืมมม.. อร่อยจังเลยมามี๊

มามะ ขออีกคำนึงนะ

อาหย่อยยยย ที่ซู๊ดดดดด

I plan to fed her only 5 spoons for today...But she really love it and she enjoy to eat a lot..so i gave her 10 spoons..Just a small spoon..
Then i gave her milk.

I know Angie is looking forward for her lunch tomorrow, and Mommy will give her more...Ummm...may be 15 spoon??

she is soooo cute!!!! You may want to try homemade baby food. Try sweetpea puree. Just steam sweet peas and then mix it up with milk that your baby drink. Then puree it very thinly. My son loved it when he tried his first baby food.
