Why don't you do it? แล้วทำไมไม่ทำ

If you are foreigners who know some Thai, you might wonder if they are different. If Thais say “ทำทำไม/tham-tham-mai/why do you do it?”, or “แล้วทำทำไม/láew-tham-tham-mai/why did you do it?”, or “ทำไมไม่ทำ/tham-mai-mâi-tham/why don’t you do it?” Yeah, they sound funny. I guess you might notice that there are present simple and past simple. The one with “แล้ว/láew” is in the past. Others are present. And “ไม่/mâi” is for negative statements or negative questions. When we ask “ไปมั๊ย/bpai-mái/wanna go?“, the answer might be “ไปสิ/bpai-sì/of course“, or “ไม่ไป/ mâi-bpai/no”, or “ไม่ไปแล้ว/ mâi-bpai-láew /no (means I wanted to go but I changed my mind)”. If you hear “ทำไมเธอไม่มาล่ะ/tham-mai-ther-mâi-maa-lâ/why don’t you come?”, this question is present, but “ทำไมเธอไม่ได้มาล่ะ/tham-mai-ther-mâi-dâi-maa-lâ/why didn’t you come?”, this one is in the past. If you want your question to mean something to happen in the future, just put “จะ/jà” in front of verbs you use such as “ทำไมเธอจะไม่มาล่ะ/tham-mai-ther-jà-mâi-maa-lâ/why won’t you come?”, or “ทำไมเธอจะไม่ไปล่ะ/tham-mai-ther-jà-mâi-bpai-lâ/why won’t you go?”, or “ทำไมเธอจะต้องไปด้วยล่ะ/tham-mai-ther-jà-tông-bpai-dûay-lâ/why will you have to go?”, etc. I will give you some example as below:

Q: เธอไปทำงานทุกวันรึเปล่า / ther-bpai-tham-ngaan-thúg-wan-rú-plào /Do you go to work every day?
A: เปล่า ฉันไม่ทำวันเสาร์อาทิตย์ / plào-chăn-mâi-tham-wan-săo-aa-thít/ No, I don’t work on weekend.
Q: แล้วเธอจะจัดงานเลี้ยงคืนนี้มั๊ย / láew-ther-jà-jàd-ngaan-líeng-khuen-née-mái/ Will you have a party tonight?
A: จัดสิ ก็พรุ่งนี้เป็นวันเสาร์/ jàd-sî-gôrr-prûng-née-bpen-wan-săo/Yes, I will. Tomorrow is Saturday.
Q: ว่าแต่เมื่อคืนเธอไปอยู่ไหนมา/wâa-tàeh-mûeh-khuen-ther-bpai-yòo-năi-maa/ Where were you last night?
A: อ๋อ ฉันไปดูหนังมาจ้ะ./ŏrr-chăn-bpai-doo-năng-maa-jâ/ Well, I went to see a movie.
Q: แล้วเธอกำลังจะไปไหนล่ะ/láew-ther-gam-lang-jà-bpai-năi-lâ/ Where are you going now?
A: ก็กำลังจะไปหาอะไรกินหน่อย / gôrr-gam-lang-jà-bpai-hăa-a-rai-gin-nòy/ I am going to get something to eat.
