Southampton chairman says Spurs targets Rodriguez & Schneiderlin are not for sale
After selling Luke Shaw, Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Dejan Lovren and Calum Chambers, reports yesterday suggested two more crucial members of the first team were also leaving St Marys.
Widespread reports suggested Tottenham were closing in on Jay Rodriguez & Morgan Schneiderlin to join up with Mauricio Pochettino at White Hart Lane.
Alas, Spurs look set to be denied just as the rest of the Premier League has been picking off Southampton, according to chairman Ralph Krueger.
A lengthy statement was placed on the Southampton website along with the Tweets below. Southampton had to put a lid on it somewhere!!
