เลือกใช้ Introductory Verbs ในการอ้างคำหรืองานของคนอื่นในรายงานของเรา (English/writing)
- As John F. Kennedy declares, "Mankind must put an end to war or war will put an end to mankind."
- A Champion of civil liberties, A.C. insisted, "I am the inferior of any man whose rights I trample underfoot."
- As part of his definition of meaningless words, Orwell argues that "private definitions" of words in political discourse are used by writers dishonestly: the user has his own meaning, but allows his audience to think he means something different. (from Wikipedia.com)
suggest ~ propose ~ find ผู้เขียน/ผู้พูดในต้นฉบับ ต้องการเสนอแนวคิด แนะนำ หรือ ผลวิจัย การคาดคะเนเรื่อง
ตัวอย่าง
- New findings from researchers at ABC University and colleagues suggest why some people with kidney failure can develop...
- professor's Name proposes that it is possible to...
- University of ABC sociologists have found that the US high school dropout rate is considerably higher than most people think. continue ~ add ใช้เมื่อเราอ้างคำพูดผู้เขียนเดิมอีกครั้ง ติดต่อกัน
ตัวอย่าง
- ABC writer of Book Title states, "I could never really write a novel about some young Thai guy who decides to get involved with human trafficking business," he continues, "because..."
- (First quotation). He adds, The role of chemistry is fundamental and growing in importance..."
