Efficiently performed with secure notes but the rhythmic framework was slightly hurried on occasion. The charm of the folksong would be even more effectively portrayed with greater sensitivity in the melodic shaping.
The performance was full of well manages detail and had a good feel to the style despite any small uneven moments. Notes were accurate. Tempo could be even more energetic to show real assurance and finesse.
