It's been three years since my last blog!

I just stumbled upon this site days ago and realized that I used to write a blog here! So I read them all through again and start feeling a bit embarrassed about myself of how corny I am lol regarding the song posts and stuff. So I was about to delete all of it, but then again I also realized how much I have changed and haven't for these past three years. And I will list them out a bit of them here down below:

First, that corny side never left lol. Right, surprisingly, I still listen to those songs on daily basis. And I have realized that I've been doing that since highschool! never lost the habit! Damien Rice is still the only singer/song writer that ever touched deep into my soul. And once in a while I actually convince myself that he sings my life. Yes, it is that bizarre!

Second, in my last post, I was a sophomore who was so clueless about what I study and where should it lead to. Even though German wasn't my major but I studied it for more than four years. So I had this glimpse of hope that I would go to Germany someday to master the language and earn a master degree in my field or so.
Who would have thought that after three years, right in this moment I am sitting here writing a blog in a complete different country with a complete different language and mentality. Guess what, I AM IN MOSCOW! Yes, it turned out that after I graduated last year, I got some kind of offer to take a year of Russian language course here and another 2 years to study masters in Russia, And I took it.

Life is so bizarre! I know. So anyway I have been here for five months already. Starting from zero knowledge whatsoever and right now I am struggling at my best. I know enough to get by but I feel like a complete idiot when anyone comes up to me and starts talking. Well, you know in Russia, that doesn't happen a lot. It's either they need directions, or I do something wrong. Anyway, what's with local people here always ask me for directions? Don't they get that clueless look of mine which I am pretty sure I have it on all the time lol.

I have encountered so many different kinds of incidents here so far, the good ones and bad ones, the what-the-hell-is-that ones. Some of which just never fail to make me smile thinking about it. Some are so discouraging, I just couldn't stop thinking about giving it all up and go home. Maybe I will share it some other time. This post is getting too long.
