โกลดอทคอม เว็บไซต์ชื่อดังต่างประเทศเปิดเผยข้อมูลนักเตะที่รวยที่สุดในโลกประจำปี 2014 ออกมาให้เราได้เห็นกันแล้ว ซึ่งปีนี้ตำแหน่งแชมปฺ์ตกเป็นของ คริสเตียโน โรนัลโด นักเตะดาวดังจาก รีล มาดริด ในสเปนโดยมีรายได้สูงถึง 122 ล้านปอนด์ คิดเป็นเงินไทยก็ราวๆ 6,710 ล้านบาทครับ ในขณะที่  ลิโอเนล เมสซี ดาวดังจากทีมบาร์เซโลนา ในลีกย์เดียวกัน ตามมาเป็นเพียงแค่อันดับที่ 2 โดยมีรายได้  120.5 ล้านปอนด์  หรือราวๆ  6,627 ล้านบาท และอันดับที่ 3 ตกเป็นของ  ซามูเอล เอโต ซึ่งปัจจุบันเล่นอยู่กับเชลซี มีรายได้ 70 ล้านปอนด์  หรือประมาณ  3,850 ล้านบาท
