Amalfi Coast Village - Depending on traffic conditions (roads are narrow and winding), your drive along the stunning Amalfi Coast includes a stop at one of the following villages - Amalfi, Maiori, Minori or Vietri sul Mare. Explore the village and shop for handcrafted majolica ware, an Amalfi Coast specialty since the Middle Ages.
Pompeii - This Roman resort was buried by volcanic ash. Entering by the sea gate, your guided walking tour of the excavated area takes in the citys baths, villas, theaters and wrestling grounds. Plaster casts mark the positions of the fallen, who were swiftly overcome by volcanic ash. The highlights include stunning frescoes and mosaic-inlaid floors.

SHOPPING

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Travel along the Sorrentine coastline to the Amalfi Coast. Pass the village of Positano, one of the most beautiful spots on the Amalfi Coast. Your drive also passes through the gorges of the Furore Valley and across the rocky slopes of the Lateran Mountains. After visiting Pompeii, return to the ship at Naples.
SPECIAL NOTES
The drive from Naples to the Amalfi Coast takes approximately 2 hours; the drive from Pompeii to Naples takes approximately 30 minutes.
Roads on the Amalfi Coast are narrow and winding. Passengers who suffer from motion sickness should take this into consideration.
