What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong with Kenny G คนส่วนมากเรียก Louis Armstrong ว่า "SATCHMO" เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 4 กรกฎาคม คศ.1900 เสียชีวิตเมื่อวันที่ 6 กรกฎาคม คศ.1971 หนังสือกินเนตส์บุคล์ได้บันทึกชื่อของเค้าว่าเป็น นักดนตรีเก่าที่มีเพลงฮิตนัมเบอร์ 1 ตลอดกาล Louis Armstrong ประสบความสำเร็จสูงสุด ในปี 1964 เมื่อเค้าได้บันทึกเพลงชื่อ Hello Dolly และภายหลังเมื่อเค้าเสียชีวิตไปแล้ว 17 ปี เพลงของเค้าชื่อ "It's a Wonderful World" ได้เป็นที่นิยมของคนฟังรุ่นใหม่ ต่อมาในปี 1987 เพลงนี้ได้นำมาประกอบในหนังชื่อ Good Morning, Vietnamและหนังอีกหลาย ๆ เรื่อง Kenny G มีชื่อจริงว่า Kenneth Gorelick แต่ได้เปลี่ยนเป็น Kenny G ในปี ค.ศ. 1976 เมื่อเค้าอายุ 17 ปี ได้เล่น saxophone เป็นอาชีพร่วมกับ Barry White's Love Unlimited Orchestra ต่อมาเค้าออกมาเป็นศิลปินเดี่ยวที่ประสบความสำเร็จ มีแฟนเพลงที่ชื่นชอบเค้ามากมาย แนวเพลงของเค้าส่วนใหญ่ จะเป็น light jazz และ pop music WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD (George Weiss / Bob Thiele) I see trees of green, red roses too I see them bloom for me and you And I think to myself, what a wonderful world I see skies of blue and clouds of white The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night And I think to myself, what a wonderful world The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky Are also on the faces of people going by I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?"
