Trevi Fountain

Trevi Fountain

Fontana di Trevi (Italian: Fontana di Trevi) is a fountain located in Trevi in Rome, Italy. The fountain is 25.9 meters (85 ft) high and 19.8 meters (65 feet) wide and the largest baroque fountain in Rome.

The Trevi Fountain is located at the end of the tre vie, [1] the end of the "Acqua Vergine" "modern" waterway bridge, Aqua Virgo Bridge and Transmission Bridge. Ancient Roman water in 19 BC There is a legend that Roman officials found clean water about 13 km from the town with the help of the virgin. (This image appears in front of the current fountain.) But when the bridge was built, the bridge was 22 km long. The water bridge "Water Bridge" sent water to the shower of Marcus Vipassini. [3] The changing of the way of life of the Romans took place when the Athenians besieged Rome between 537 and AD. 538 Destroy the bridge making The medieval Roman had to use water from the pond and from the Tiber, which used to be a sewer.
The Roman tradition was to create a splendid fountain at the end of the water-supply bridge, to be reintroduced in the 15th century. In the reign of 1453, Pope Nicholas III repaired the bridge. Completely verbose water and simple fountain basin. Designed by celebrated naturalist Leonard Batista Alberto to celebrate the arrival of the water.

In 1629, Pope Urban 8 found that the original fountain was not large enough. He made the Lorenzo dish. Bernini designed the new fountain. But when Urbans died, the project was suspended. What Barney made was to move the fountain's location to the other side of the square, facing the Quirinal Palace, although the Bernini's project would be abandoned for the Salisbury fountain. There are also traces of Bernini in the newly created fountain. The body designed by Pietro Da Cortona was still preserved in Alberta in Vienna, and many were written in the early 18th century but not signed. [5] Another version is believed to have been issued by Ferdinando Fuchaca [6] and a French design by Edme Bouchardon. [7]
During the Baroque period, there was a competition to design buildings. In parallel with the fountain and even the Spanish steps, in 1730 Pope Clement 12 organized a design competition at Nicolae. Salvin was defeated by Alessandro Galilei - but the people of Rome protested because Galileo was a Florentine. [8] Construction began in 1732 and was completed in 1762, shortly after Pope Clement's death. When the sculptures of Oceanus The God of Water by Pietro Bracci is installed in the middle of the fountain.
Salvi died in 1751, when the fountain was only half built. Before dying, Salvin deliberately hid the barber's badge by hiding behind a large vase called "asso di coppe"
The Trevi Fountain was completed in 1762 by Giovanni Paolo Pannini, the creator of the "Trivia", a virgin who replaced the antics of the antipasto.

Trevi Fountain was restored in 1998 by cleaning the stone work and creating a new water pump system each day. Someone threw coins into the Tevira Fountain around 3,000 Euros by standing back and throwing coins over their heads. This money is used to nourish the supermarket for the poor in Rome. [9] The coin tossed into this fountain was a belief from ancient Roman times that if anyone did this, they would return to Rome again in the middle of the year. 2014. Restoration of the Trevi Fountain again. By raising donations for this purpose from private companies and individuals. Because the official has no budget. Finished in the fall of 2015.
