My lovely sweety dog bit me!!! This morning my dog bit me!!! 'My' dog really means mine coz his breed is the one that will accept only one boss in their life so for him, I'm that person!!! We had a fight about taking a bath coz he didn't want to but I want him to coz I need him to go to clinic today for ear treatment. When he saw me hold the chain, he walked away. I started to chase so he started to run. So I stopped then he kind of walked to me then ran again. Actually I should be safe coz normally if he wants to take a bath he will just walk straight to the bath area but today he didn't so I should give up. I don't know why I didn't let him go easily as usually, it might because I really want him to see the vet today. So I walked to him then he realized that I wouldn't give up easily so he tried to scare me-but sorry, I'm the boss, only one boss in his life (I had strong believe coz he bit everyone but me for almost past 10 years) so I wasn't scared at all and that's why the tragedy's happened (I fell sorry now Y_Y). I talked to him, tried to calm him down, I had 1 sec that I had thought to pick between put my hand or the collar on his head and yes-I made the wrong pick-I put the collar on. So he's very upset and turned his mouth to my hand. One sec later, I saw 3 stripes of scratch on my right hand and they're bleeding!!! I can't believe my eyes!!! And also a tiny hole from his tooth on my palm that was bleeding, too. I can't explain what I fell coz dog is dog, he shouldn't bite the hand who's been feeding him for 10 years and now it's proof that I was wrong!!! I looked at the wounds and fell very bad coz I didn't give him vaccination on the schedule (totally my fault) so I can imagine the long list what I have to do to myself next. I looked at him and he looked at me. I can see that he fell guilty, he walked closer to me and headed down but not on my lap then shaked his tail twice. I showed him my hand to his face, need him to realize what he's done then walked away without touching him. He's been quiet for entire of the day (after writing this blog, I should go to see him and give him some snack). I fell really bad coz I really had strong believe that dog won't harm their owner and it's never happened to me before. One of my belief's broken today (also my heart). But I knew that he might be upset coz his ear prob. I cleaned the wounds and went to the hospital. I know that I have to have 5 shots for the dog bite and 1 shot for tetanus. After I waited for call for almost 30 mins in the wrong seating area coz the nurse finally I was in the treatment room (instead of my dog). One nurse who looked nice and reminded me a country girl from northeast told me that I should have full course of tetanus which means 3 shots!!! So I have to get 8 shots totally so I asked her the schedule then I knew that 1 shot will be next Sat that I have to go to north. I spoke to my sis and she said I can come in the morning so the nurse supported her by saying I can do it even arriving at 5 in the morning! (grrrrrr where's the old nice nurse wa). Then she told me that I have to have 2 shots today on my both arms. So now I'm the person who having plasters on my both arms (look silly). I got the appointment card for the rest of shots and I fell tired already. Before I came to hospital, I told my mum that I don't want to coz they're just scratches so my mum said 'Aied, you can go to see Dr.Krit' I asked her 'why?' then she said 'he can tell you what to do, maybe you don't need the shots' so I looked at mum with this face and made the loud noise back saying 'but mum, he's the vet!!!' (P'Krit is my dog's vet) My sis laughed like crazy... |
