Haven't updated this section for soooo long. I still do enjoy cooking as much as eating out. Just normally we are in a mood of get and going, rather than taking photos of every single step.
Lucky me, that Andy is in a 'Master Chef' mood, recently. He cooks new dish everyday.
Cooking puts joy in his life. And of course, when Andy is happy, my tummy is happy too
CHICKEN MUSHROOM SOUP
Gosh!!! Love this dish!!! It's my ideal soup, seriously! The soup was so morish and not too rich. Love the chicken chuncks that made it's more like a meal. Eventhough I'm not a big fan of mushroom, I really enjoyed all of it..
Brief Method : Fry onions, garlic, bayleaf in olive oil. Add cider then soup stock. Cook slices of chicken in panfry with olive oil, seasoning, and taragon. Put the mushroom in the soup, then tip the chicken in.
Good winter dish. Not as good as our expectation, but nice and worth to try.
Brief Method : Skillet the chicken and merinate them in red wine over night. Pan fry the chicken and onion in oilive oil, seperately. Slowcook the chicken, fried onion in red wine, balsamic vinegar, thyme, and seasoning. Prepare the roast veg of your choice.
Rather cook it as a casserole dish for tenderness of the chicken.
CLASSIC CHEESE SOUFFLE
My first ever Souffle!! O.K. Andy cooked it mainly, I was a sour-chef though
Brief Method : Cook the onion, spices, bayleaf, in hot milk. Mix butter and flour for the paste. Strain the milk then mix with the paste, gradually. Add egg yolks, mustard, cheeses in and whisk them together. Whisk the egg white seperately, then add it in. Put in a bowl and topping with more cheese.
