Henderson and hosted by station
Horton ผ่านการสมรสสองครั้ง ครั้งแรกกับ Donna Cook ใช้ชีวิตกันในเมือง Shreveportที่ซึ่งเริ่มร้องเพลงแรกของเขาคือ "First Train Headin' South" b/w "(I Wished for an Angel) The Devil Sent Me You" (Mercury 6412),ให้กับ Mercury Records และก็ได้รับการตอบรับอย่างดีจากหนังสือพิมพ์ท้องถิ่น Horton ต้องเดินทางไปแสดงที่โน่นที่นี่ย้ายถิ่นฐานอยู่หลายคราจนที่สุดก็ต้องหย่าร้างกับภรรยาในเวลาต่อมา

Johnny Horton - The Mansion You Stole
A mansion I own
Has captured your heart
You said it was love, dear
But you lied from the start
I wanted true love
But you wanted my gold
Some day you'll be sorry
For the lies that you told
You've stolen my heart
And you cheated on me
But someday my darlin'
I know that you'll see
A house without love
Can make you so cold
And you will be lonely
In the mansion you stole
You said it was love, dear
But you lied from the start
Some day you'll be sorry
For the lies that you told
You've stolen my heart
And you cheated on me
But someday my darlin'
I know that you'll see
A house without love
Can make you so cold
And you will be lonely
In the mansion you stole
battle of new orleans lyrics-johnny horton
Battle Of New Orleans
In 1814 we took a little trip, Along with Colonel Jackson down the mighty Mississip. We took a little bacon, and we took a little beans. And we cooked the bloody British near the town of New Orleans.
Chorus 1:We fired our guns and the British kept a-comin' There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago We fired once more and they begin to runnin' On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico
We looked down the river and we seen the British come, An there must have been a hundred of them beatin on the drum. They stepped so high & they made their bugles ring, we stood beside our cotton bails & didn't say a thing.
Chorus 1:We fired our guns and the British kept a-comin' There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago We fired once more and they begin to runnin' On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico
Old Hickory said we could take 'em by surprise if we didn't fire our muskets 'til we looked them in the eye. We held our fire 'til we see'd their faces well, then we opened up our squirrel guns & really gave 'em WELL....
Chorus 1:We fired our guns and the British kept a-comin' There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago We fired once more and they begin to runnin' On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico
They ran thru the briars and they ran thru the brambles and they ran thru the bushes where a rabbit wouldn't go. They ran so fast the the hounds couldn't catch 'em on down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.
We fired our cannon till the barrel melted down, then we grabbed an alligator & we fought another round. We filled his head with cannon balls, & powered his behind 'n when we touched the powder off the gator lost his mind.

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is fantastic blog. An excellent read. I'll certainly be back. ugg boots pitt st sydney //www.modelobsession.it/Stivali-ugg/gZReB3VJYr/
