New year again and this is my fouth year in Beijing. I have been in Beijing for more than 3 years.. time really files. I celebrated my new year in Shanghai with friends and my brother. I really love the countdown feeling....6 5 4 3 2 1...新年快乐。。。
People said that Shanghai people don't like Beijing people.. and Beijing people don't like Shanghai people.. I know that I am Thai but somehow feeling that Shanghai people don't like me.. hahah.. and it is not true. I am Thai lah..
Because China is a giant country and people from different areas are not the same in terms of characteristics, way of life.. and life style..
In Shanghai.. seem like there are many places that people going to count down.. but i dont think that it happen in Beijing.. after I countred down, we tried to go back to the Youth Hostel where we stay..and at first we thought that we had to walk back because no enough taxi available.. however, we found out that subway still open for people..People get on the subway with crowd but they all happy with smile..
Shanghai is the business city, it is busy city with has many subway lines. I like the 外滩 where people can see the high building and walk along the river. It was a relax feeling when I walk around and took the cruise to cross the river.
Shanghai people don't really speak mandarin in daily life. However they can speak mandarin if we talk to them in mandarin. I don't really learn shanghai language yet.. it is not easy.
visiting the Shanghai expo is not a bad idea.. only China pavillion is still available to see. the ticket is only 20 yuan.
we also had a chance to go to the temple..and i think it is a good idea..it is a new year..
I took the sleeper train to Shanghai taking about 13 hours and took the soft seat back to beijing taking about 10 hours. not bad.. i can sleep for the whole night.
my trip in Shanghai was so fun not because of the city but because of people joining the trip are nice.. my ex colleague flying from Thailand to Beijing and took a train to Shanghai.. my brother took a train from Nanjing, my friends in Beijing ( Thai and Chinese ).. and I ... 5 of us enjoy the trip so much.. wonderful time ..
Hi, I am very pleased to have my own blog. This blog was inspired from a friend from Pantip -Klaiban.... Actually I do write diary in my book..not everyday but quite often.. and in Thai.
I started to know Klaiban (Pantip) when I intended to have a Toefl test and found out adviser there. Many friends gave recommend on my essays and encouraged me in writing. I wish I can do it better.
