I would encourage you to study what you like. It is one of the most important factor towards the success of your study and career. I partly disagree about 'studying what you can't do'. Instead, I think you can study what you can do now but for doing better in the future. In any cases, study is an investment for time and money. Plan ahead and think carefully.
