จังหวัดพะเยาตั้งอยู่ในพื้นที่ภาคเหนือของประเทศไทย มีภูมิประเทศที่น่าอยู่แต่เดิมเป็นอำเภอหนึ่งที่อยู่ในจังหวัดเชียงรายชื่อว่า อำเภอพะเยาและต่อมาได้ยกฐานะขึ้นเป็นจังหวัดพะเยาในจังหวัดพะเยามีสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวมากมายไม่ว่าจะเป็นวัดหรือสถานที่ที่สำคัญต่างๆมีสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวมากมาย เช่น วัดติโลกอาราม วัดศรีโคมคำวัดอนาลโยทิพยาราม กว๊านพะเยา เป็นต้น 

สวัสดีทุกๆ คน ฉันเป็นผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งที่ชอบเที่ยววัดและชอบทำบุญมากและฉันจะมาเล่าประสบการณ์ที่ฉันได้ไปเที่ยววัดต่างๆในจังหวัดที่อยู่ในอาณาจักรล้านนา ฉันได้ไปเที่ยวแล้วหลายวัดมากวัดแรกที่ฉันจะมาแชร์ประสบการณ์ที่ได้ไปเที่ยวนั้นคือวัดติโลกอารามจังหวัดพะเยานั่นเอง วัดติโลกอาราม ตั้งอยู่ในเขตกว๊านพะเยาเทศบาลเมืองพะเยา ตำบลเวียง อำเภอเมืองพะเยา จังหวัดพะเยา 

^{ในวันที่ฉันไปเที่ยวนั้นเป็นช่วงกลางเดือนพฤษภาคมเป็นช่วงที่น้ำในกว๊านพะเยาแห้งแล้งมาก ช่วงนั้นทางชาวบ้านในพื้นที่ได้มีการสร้างสะพานบุญหรือที่เขาเรียกกันว่า“ขัวบุญ” นั่นเอง พอเดินไปถึงรู้สึกเย็นสบายมาก ลมโชยพัดผ่านตลอดเวลา พระธาตุที่เป็นอิฐหินทรายมีความงดงามมากมีพระพุทธรูปที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์มาก คือ พระพุทธรูปหินทรายปางมารวิชัยที่มีการค้นพบในปีพ.ศ. 2526 ใต้กว๊านพะเยา แต่เดิมถูกเชิญไปประดิษฐานไว้ที่วัดศรีอุโมงค์คำจากนั้นปีพ.ศ. 2550ได้มีการอัญเชิญมาไว้ประดิษฐานไว้บนฐานบุษบกบริเวณลานซึ่งสร้างขึ้นมาเหนือน้ำที่วัดติโลกอาราม นี่เป็นครั้งแรกที่ฉันมาเที่ยวในวัดแห่งนี้เป็นวัดที่งดงามมากวัดหนึ่งที่ฉันเคยเที่ยวมา ในการเดินทางไปนั้นฉันไปรถส่วนตัวกับครอบครัวโดยข้อมูลต่อไปนี้จะเป็นประวัติและกิจกรรมแบบคร่าวๆ นะคะ}

^{วัดติโลกอารามหรือสันธาตุบวกสี่แจ่งพระอารามหลวงในรัชสมัยพระเจ้าติโลกราช กษัตริย์ล้านนาลำดับที่ 9 แห่งราชวงศ์มังรายสร้างขึ้นระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2019-2029 ปัจจุบันตัววัดจมอยู่ใต้กว๊านพะเยายกเว้นส่วนยอดพระธาตุที่โผล่พ้นน้ำขึ้นมา เนื่องจากปี พ.ศ. 2482กรมประมงได้ก่อสร้างประตูกั้นน้ำทำให้แม่น้ำอิงและลำนำสาขาซึ่งไหลลงมาจากทิวเขาผีปันน้ำเกิดการเอ่อล้นเข้าท่วมชุมชนโบราณที่ตั้งอยู่บริเวณหนองเอี้ยงจนเกิดทะเลสาบน้ำจืดขึ้นมาเรียกมากว๊านพะเยา ทำให้วัด โบราณสถาน และชุมชนโบราณจำนวนมาก จมอยู่ใต้น้ำ}

^{วัดติโลกอารามเป็นวัดกลางน้ำแห่งเดียวของประเทศไทยที่วัดติโลกอารามมีความแตกต่างจากการเวียนเทียนในวัดอื่นๆคือผู้ที่เข้ามาเวียนเทียนจะนั่งอยู่บนเรือแจวเพื่อทำการเวียนเทียนรอบลานอิฐดินเผาและพระธาตุที่โผล่พ้นผิวน้ำเนื่องจากอุโบสถของวัด จมอยู่ใต้กว๊านพะเยา โดยในแต่ละปีจะมีการเวียนเทียนทั้งหมด3 ครั้ง คือ วันมาฆบูชา วันวิสาขบู-ชา และวันอาสาฬหบูชาซึ่งการเวียนเทียนกลางน้ำนี้ถือเป็นหนึ่งในกิจกรรมที่สนับสนุนการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย}
