ขับรถออกจากนิวยอร์กไม่นาน ซักชั่วโมงกว่าๆ เห็นป้าย Scenic View Stop เลยไถลออกไปซักพัก ทั้งๆที่ยังอยู่ในนิวเจอร์ซีย์อยู่เลย

พอจอดรถได้ ก็เห็นโต๊ะปิคนิค ว่าแล้วก็เลยหิว พี่หนุ่มทำเนื้อเค็มมา ส่วนไอ้ตุ้ย กะ แพม นึ่งข้าวเหนียว กะปิ้งไก่มา ไอ้คนขับอย่างเราอยากกิน เลยตามใจตัวเองแวะกินเนื้อเค็ม แต่ลูกทัวร์ชอบใจ เพราะบรรยากาศรอบๆตัว มันเขียวมาก ประสาคนอยู่ในเมืองมานาน เลยตื่นเต้นกันใหญ่

รูปที่โต๊ะปิคนิค นั่งอยู่นานก็ไม่มีใครแวะมา เลยกินอย่างสบายใจ และไม่เกรงใจใคร

กินไปก็มองวิวไปเรื่อยๆ เขียวเพลินตามากๆ

As we (I) planned, we re heading to Skaneateles, (pronounce like Skiny-at-las) located Upstate of New York in the region of Finger Lake. After we had a picnic break, then we head out west through New Jersey, up north to Pennsylvania, and then back north of New york. The scenery changes between states, we saw lots of dead deer along the highway (เยอะมากเหมือนเห็นหมาตาย เวลาอยู่เมืองไทยอ่ะ)

Then here we are, Skaneateles.

Everything looked nice and peaceful for us, even the town crowd still on, as we could tell from the traffic. But we were just starting our 2005 summer vacation. YEAHHHH

The handsome Sherwood Inn was just facing out to the lake, where we parked our van right up front the hotel. After an hour walked around the location, we found that we loved it here.

The hotel was here since 1807, but it didnt change its look much from outside, compared to the old picture of this building. When we walked in to check in, there was a bar louge to the right, and a grand restaurant to the left. People started to hang out already for drinks and dinner, as it was only 5pm.

The big stairway lead us to the 2nd floor. We were so relived when saw the room. It was a cozy suite room ever, so colorful.

But the rain was on its way for the whole night.

Our junior suite room could fit 5 of us, as it contained two bedrooms, and one bath. Even the night rain runined our plan a bit, but lobby bar entertained us alot when we found out that drinks here are half price of New York City bar's. We drank a lot to make up for the rain outside.

Next morning, we strolled along the shopping street of Skinny-atlas. One thing that bothered us alot is

,yeah, these big bugs. We had no idea what they were, but didnt bother to ask their local people.
