สวัสดีค่ะ ผลเมื่อคืน กับดาวิเดนโก้ จบด้วยสกอร์ 1-6,ret. พี่ล่ำขอรีไทร์จาก match ค่ะ เพราะมีอาการบาดเจ็บที่เข่าขวา ( พี่ล่ำบอกว่าไม่เคยเจ็บแบบนี้มาก่อนด้วยค่ะ นี่เป็นครั้งแรกเลย ) เมื่อคืนนั่งดูพี่ล่ำเล่น ก็รู้สึกแปลก ๆ ดูหน้านิ่ว ๆ เหมือนเจ็บ แล้วก็เจ็บจริง ๆ ฟังสัมภาษณ์พี่ล่ำ พี่ล่ำบอกว่าคือจริง ๆ รู้สึกเจ็บตั้งแต่ tournament เริ่มแล้ว แล้วมารู้สึกเจ็บมากขึ้น match ที่เล่นกับมงฟิลค่ะ แล้วเมื่อเช้าตื่นนอน รู้สึกเจ็บมากเลย หวังว่าจะไม่เป็นอะไรมากนะคะ พักเยอะ ๆ นะคะพี่ล่ำ  คือเมื่อคืนนอกจากจะกังวลกับอาการบาดเจ็บและเสียใจที่พี่ล่ำต้องไทร์แล้ว ส้มโกดแฟน ๆ ฝรั้งเศสในสนามมาก ๆค่ะ โห่พี่ล่ำตลอด ขนาดตอนที่พี่ล่ำถอนตัวแล้ว ยังโห่อีก คือเป็นการกระทำที่แย่มาก ๆ คือส้มว่าจริง ๆ พี่ล่ำควรจะไทร์ตั้งแต่แรกเหมือนเฮียเฟดไปแล้ว แต่พี่ล่ำก็ยังมีสปีริตสู้เต็มร้อย แต่กลับต้องมาเจอการกระทำแบบนี้ รู้สึกแย่ค่ะ

รายการต่อไปคือ Master Cup ที่เซี่ยงไฮ้ค่ะ เริ่มวันที่ 9/11/08 ตอนแรกพี่ล่ำบอกว่าจะเดินทางวันอังคาร แต่พอมามีอาการบาดเจ็บ ก็อาจจะเลื่อน อาจไปถึงช้าลงค่ะ

สัมภาษณ์พี่ล่ำจาก match เมื่่อคืนค่ะ

Q. Can you just tell us exactly what the problem is?
RAFAEL NADAL: I have some pain in the knee. I had when the tournament start a little bit, but yesterday in the moment increased the pain.
Today when I wake up I feel it a lot. I try to practice but still feel it. Later I went the doctor and the doctor gave me some antiinflammatories.
Anyway, I didn't have power in the right leg for play with the backhand. When I push with the right leg all the time the knee wasn't there, you know, the knee is going down. I feel like a sharp, acute pain.
I don't know, I can't. I never going to win a match like this, no?
Q. Are you just being careful because of Shanghai? Are you worried about the Masters Cup?
RAFAEL NADAL: Well, for sure, no? But, you know, we going to have the test and everything. Hopefully going to be fine for Shanghai, but you never know. Hopefully going to be fine, but I don't know.
Q. Just to confirm, is it your right knee? You had some treatment on your thigh. Was that hurting as well?
RAFAEL NADAL: No, no. The trainer came for the knee but tried to relax the quadriceps muscle for the knee. But it was a different thing.
Q. Roger actually had to stop as well. He's canceled his match against James Blake tonight with a bad back. This is a difficult tournament for the tournament directorship because players are struggling to be fit at the end of a long season. How tough is it to keep going and playing such good tennis throughout the year?
RAFAEL NADAL: Well, sorry for the tournament, for sure. For everybody it's tough lose retired Federer and retired me right now. I know for the tournament going to be not easy.
But we tried our best all the time and we tried our best in every tournament when we go. When you can no more, you can't no more. You know how tough is the season and how long, a lot of the matches in our shoulders.
I think with this calendar it's very difficult to play a lot of years in a row, no? So I don't know. I think ATP and everybody have to think about these things what's happening in the end of the season, no?
Like this it's very difficult to have big players for a long time, no? Because always the speed of the ball is going more and more, and that's more tougher for the body. This is very tough, no? But for the last four years I was fine. Hopefully continue like this.
Q. Have you had this kind of knee pain before exactly?
RAFAEL NADAL: No.
Q. First time?
RAFAEL NADAL: No, no, first time.
Q. What day are you supposed to fly to Shanghai? How many days do you have between now and the day you're supposed to fly into Shanghai?
RAFAEL NADAL: From beginning Tuesday, but, you know, I don't know yet right now. With this pain maybe a little bit later. I don't know. Depends.
Q. Have you been surprised by the attitude of the crowd at the end when you left the court? Some people were whistling. You can understand that, or you think it's not normal?
RAFAEL NADAL: Well, I can understand, no? The crowd pays a ticket for watching the match and one player retired, so that's normal, no?
But anyway, I always try to be very nice with the crowd here in Paris. I love a lot the city and I love French people. Sometimes it's not easy to accept this result.
The tougher moment is for me, not for the crowd, no, you know, so I am more disappointed than everybody on court for later receive that, no?
Q. How long ago did you know that Roger was pulling out? Did you know going onto the court that Roger Federer had pulled out already?
RAFAEL NADAL: I saw him in the locker room five minutes before the match, and he told me that he has the pain in the back. I say to him, I am close to you before the match, no? Maybe both going to be at home tonight.
