สัมภาษณ์ราฟาค่ะ
"This was the end to the season I needed," Nadal said at a news conference after Spain completed a 5-0 whitewash of the Czechs to win the Davis Cup for the fourth time since 2000.
"Winning again is a great feeling and a major achievement, particularly considering the problems I've had.
"Being able to enjoy this with my team mates and receive all the support from the crowd has been terrific over the three days."
"There have been great moments and not so great moments but I can't say this has been a bad year," the 23-year-old said.
"I won my first grand slam tournament on hardcourt, three Masters and Barcelona. At the start of the year I would have accepted that.
"Now we have the Davis Cup and we should keep in mind that it's going to be very difficult to win again.
"I've always said you have to savour the moment when you win things. One day you can just stop winning so you have to make the most of it. It's been a while since I won a trophy."
"You have to accept that in life there are always problems and work to overcome them," he said.
"It's what I've always done and I'm going to carry on."
Please allow me to be very happy for this win. I know most of you are not Spanish but this is the win of my team and I am very happy for the win. I know I have also a lot of Czech fans and I respect very much the fact that in any case you support me and obviously your country. Thanks a lot also to all the fans from any part of the World for your support always!

ZAPATERO: "You are a magnificent symbol and ambassador" Madrid, December 7, 2009
Spain's prime minister honored the Davis Cup-winning team in a ceremony at his official residence on Monday.Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero praised Rafa Nadal and his teammates for successfully defending the title after completing a 5-0 victory over the Czech Republic in the final on Sunday.
The country's overall sporting success has coincided with a period of dominance in tennis, Zapatero said."We have a generation of athletes that is without doubt the best in the history of Spain," Zapatero said. "You know how to win with humility and elegance, you know how to play and fight during the tough moments and you have shown us how it's done."
Rafa opened the best-of-five series on indoor clay with a victory over Tomas Berdych. On Sunday, he defeated Jan Hajek to help Spain close out its win. His teammates included Fernando Verdasco, Tommy Robredo, Feliciano Lopez and David Ferrer.
Zapatero also took time for a special praise directed at Rafa. "You are a magnificent symbol and ambassador," Zapatero said. "Someone who shows us how things should be done, how to be a great sportsman and person.
"Spain has won four Davis Cup finals, 20 consecutive best-of-five series on clay and 18 straight series at home going back to 1999.
Nadal wastes no time in starting 2010 training 12/7/09 1:27 PM | Johan Lindahl
Rafael Nadal will start 2010 work this week, with no time to waste as he tries to forget the disappointment caused by a pair of lengthy injury absences this past ATP season.
The world No. 2 was boosted by a Davis Cup title for his nation last weekend over the Czech Republic. And there should certainly be no motivation problems as he resumes his regime on the island of Mallorca.
"I'm not changing my plan; I don't want to make the mistakes of the past season," said the four-time French Open winner who lost at Roland Garros for the first time in his career six months ago and was unable to defend his Wimbledon title due to knee injuries.
The Spaniard has admitted that he made a huge error by cramming in too many clay events last spring - with the tipping point his insistence of playing in the Madrid Masters.
After winning a marathon semifinal over Novak Djokovic, he ran out of puff a day later when he lost the final to Roger Federer, with the Swiss also going on to lift the Roland Garros for the first time.
"That was my biggest mistake. I had the knee problem but decided to play it anyway, since it was in Spain and meant something special to me."
Rafa Nadal has no plans to rest. The champ is back home in Mallorca after a very long week full of commitments, and thousands of interviews that are part of the protocol that comes with winning a very deserved Davis Cup title.
The world No.2 and his team celebrated for hours before flying to Madrid on Monday for the official ceremony organized by the president of Spain, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero. On Tuesday, he flew back home, had a days rest and began his pre-season training.
At an interview on Sunday, Rafa explained he there will be no days to celebrate the holiday season and simply, his objective is to regain the rhythm and confidence that helped him take his game to the next level during the last two years.
He plans to work real hard and hopefully make up for the time lost during a pair of injury absences this past ATP season.
On December 29th, Rafa will begin his 2010 campaign at an Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, before playing in Doha, and the Australian Open.

A passenger on the Spanair flight from Madrid graphically described the scene yesterday upon landing at Son Sant Joan: "He's left the first plane and was running." The recipient of the comment was Rafel Nadal, who returned to Mallorca at noon with a replica of the Davis Cup in the luggage and planted a dozen journalists who were waiting at the airport. "It's been fifteen minutes ago," confirmed a security guard to the amazement of reporters.
The Mallorcan tennis player left in a flash from the airport facilities, to escape being seen by the print media waiting to capture the snapshot of the champion on his return from Madrid, where he was received by the Prime Minister along with the rest of the Spanish team. The Spaniard did not want to talk and opted for the camp, a tactic that he has has used more times.

ATP REVEALS THE BEST OF THE DECADE Mallorca, December 16, 2009
The 2010 season will not only mark the end of a spectacular decade of tennis, but also, it reminds us tennis fans of how lucky we have been to witness some of the best moments the sport has ever seen.
Roger Federer takes the cake as the best player without doubt, and Rafa Nadal (who celebrates his 9th year on tour at the start of 2010), deserves an honourable mention for giving tennis the excitement and entertainment it deserves. This decade wouldn't have been the same without either of them.
Perhaps, not having Roger around would have meant Rafa would have had a few more titles under his belt, and some would even say he would have become the best in history, BUT lucky for Rafa (and tennis fans), it hasn't been that easy. If anything, its thanks to their rivalry that their achievements are that much more significant.
As prove, check out this weeks ATP World Tour website to read about this decades best players, and the top 10 records and achievements.
Below are Rafas outstanding results:
DECADE IN REVIEW TOP 10 RECORDS & ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE DECADEby ATP Staff
3. Rafael Nadals four consecutive Roland Garros titles is a stunning feat. The Spaniard won on debut in 2005 and won 31 consecutive matches before big-hitting Swede Robin Soderling upset him in a fourth-set tie-break in the fourth round this year.
5. Rafael Nadal became the first man since Bjorn Borg 28 years before him to claim the elusive Roland Garros-Wimbledon double in 2008. (Federer repeated the feat in 2009). In a banner year Nadal also won Olympic gold that season.
8. Rafael Nadals imposing clay-court streak during the decade was breathtaking. Nadal, who owns a 181-16 career win-loss record on clay, won more than 11 matches for each one he lost on the surface. He amassed an 81-match winning streak between 2005-07. His record in best-of-five-set matches on clay is 49-1 and he has won 24 of 26 finals on the surface.
10. Rafael Nadals record at ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournaments is astonishing. Before turning 23 in June, Nadal had won 15 of the ATP World Tours premier tournaments between 2005-09. He trails Federer by just one and all-time leader Agassi by two titles. (Agassi won his record 17th ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title as a 34 year old.)
HONORABLE MENTIONS
Rafael Nadal reaching 400 match wins faster than any other active player is worthy of note. Nadal reached his 400th win from 491 matches, topping Federer and Hewitt, who both needed 520 matches to register their 400th wins.
THE PLAYERS OF THE DECADE
2. RAFA NADAL
Vamos Rafa!
In recent years, Rafa Nadal has emerged as the strongest challenger to Federers dominance and has established one of the most gripping rivalries in the history of mens tennis with the Swiss. The Spaniard, who proudly displays the silhouette of a bulls horns on his tennis shoes, has been the undoubted King of Clay in the past five years. Of the Spaniards 36 tour-level titles, 25 have come on his surface of choice.
