Brussels
Brussels is the capital of Belgium and the administrative centre of the European Union. However, Brussels is a quite small place. We walked around the main places of the Brussels within 24 hours!! And we were really lucky because the weather was really nice, sunny and all, it did get colder in the evening though but it was fine.
Our hostel was really nice as well!! We stayed at "Hostel Grand Place" Website. The location was really good as well as we were near the 'Grote Markt' (the GRAND'PLACE ~ Market Square) where people just come out to chill, relax and even do sun bathing!! One drawback about this is if you check-in after 4pm, you will have to check in somewhere else first, then come to the hostel, its around 20-25 mins walk though.
One of the main attractions for Brussels is the 'Peeing boy' statue, also called Mannikin Pis. He is located at one of the corners. Also, he gets changed for different occasions.

As for food, waffles are made BEST in Belgium! But but but....eat the 'original' waffles and not add the extras like chocolate syrup, whipped cream or ice-cream and so on. Try at least once without the additional topping, its super great!! And DON'T FORGET to try the chocolates!! They are THE BEST!!! I tried out Neuhaus Website, it was SUPERB! Wish I could find it in England as I am a chocolate lover (pretty sure many of you are as well ).
