Free Speech TV
Free Speech TV (FSTV) is an independent, non-profit TV station based in Denver, Colorado that was started in 1995. It is supported by public donations and is owned and operated by Public Communicators Incorporated, an organization that was founded in 1974.
Free Speech TV broadcasts independently produced news programs and documentaries that deal with social, political, cultural and environmental issues. News programs broadcast on FSTV include The Thom Hartmann Program, GRITtv with Laura Flanders, Gay USA, The Marc Steiner Show and Democracy Now!.It also airs documentaries and original programs of newsworthy events like the United States Social Forum in Detroit, Michigan, June 22-26, 2010, the One Nation March in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 2, 2010 and full coverage of the 2010 Elections on Nov. 2, 2010. Free Speech TV is broadcast full-time to 30 million households in the United States through Dish Network and DIRECTV. It is broadcast part-time on 200 cable access affiliates and also broadcast as streaming video from the channel's website
