On Saturday, we had a farewell party for a friend who had lived here almost as long as I have. It's long enough that we can almost call this place "home". I thought to myself. Even though deep inside we know it is never "home", this is the place where I have spent all my adult life. I studied here, worked here, made good friends here, and made a family here. It must have been hard to leave this place filled with lots of good and bad memories. Leaving Thailand was hard but I knew sooner or later I would come back. Leaving this place is different. I don't know if I will ever come back here again. It's kind of sad, isn't it?
Anyway, we had a party for her at the beach not far from where we live. It's about 40 minutes driving. It was a nice sunshine day!
This is the BBQ area where people sit around and enjoy their grills.
Like most beaches, dogs are not allowed.
Like everywhere else, you can see people breaking the rule. By the way, I really like this dog.
We had pork, beef, fish, and corns.
Wow! I didn't notice that my hair is really long!
The beach was not crowded. So it gave me time to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
We had quite enjoyable and relaxing visit.
The sand is nothing compared to what we have in Thailand.
What a lovely sky! Do you see it? Even the sky is in love!
... and so am I.
Have a great week everyone!
