ถ้าหากหมาตัวไหน ได้เจ้านายเป็น ประธานาธิบดี นั้น นับต้องเป็นคุณหมาที่มีบุญวาสนาแน่นอน ที่จะได้รับยศ Dog No. 1 ของสหรัฐ ทีเดียว

จะขอนำเสนอ ประวัติศาสตร์ เป็นเรื่องเป็นราวหน่อย

แต่ในบรรดา ประธานาธิบดีสหรัฐ ฯ ที่ผ่านมานั้น คือ JFK ผู้เลี้ยงหมาจำนวนมากกว่า 5 ตัว ใน White House !

เมื่อวันที่ 15 เมษายน ตามเวลาา ในเมือง วอชิงตัน ดีซี

ปธน. Obama ได้รับมอบ หมาพันธุ์ Portuguese water จาก ครอบครัว สว. Sen. Edward M. Kennedy's จากรัฐเวอร์จิเนีย ซึ่งตระกูล Kennedy มีความรักหมา มาก.. ซึ่งเห็นได้จาก อตีด ปธน. John F. Kennedy ผู้ล่วงลับ

Obama ได้ตั้งชื่อมันว่า "โบ"
