ช่วงนี้ผมได้รู้จัก วง Hood โดยบังเอิญ ชอบมากจะเรียกว่านี้ว่า เป็น Post rock /Post punk ก็น่าจะได้ จะเป็น space rock ก็ไปได้เพราะโดยซาวดน์เพลงก็มีส่วนผสมของซาวดน์ให้ชวนเวิงว้างไม่น้อย ต้องบอกว่าซาวดน์โดยรวมมีความคล้ายคลึงกับ Berg Sans Nipple ไม่น้อย ตอนนี้ Hood กำลังออกงานใหม่ใช้ชื่อชุดว่า outside closer Hood เป็นวงมาจากเมืองลีด ในประเทศอังกฤษ ประกอบด้วยสมาชิก 6 คน Andrew Johnson, Chris Adams, Richard Adams, John Evans, Craig Tattersall และ Nicola Hodgkinson.
ในปี 1992 ออกงานออกมา 2 ซิงเกิลคือ Sirensและopening into enclosureแล้วพวกเขาก็แยกวง ปี 1995 พวกเขาก็กลับมาร่วมตัวอีกครั้ง ภายใต้สังกัดใหม่ ชื่อ Domino Records ปัจจุบันมีสมาชิก 3 หรือ 4 คนนี้แหละ

HOOD

Based loosely around brothers Chris and Richard Adams and friends to hand Hood have positioned themselves, over a series of albums, in a unique point in modern UK sound craft.

Mapping the territory of their native Yorkshire in sometimes haunted, sometimes passively angry, but always abstract and melodic song cycles the Hood sound is rural, English, submerging. Their most recent collection 2001’s Cold House is a deft configuration of song, glitch and atmosphere featuring guest spots from fellow travelers Why? and Dose 1 of Anticon’s cLOUDDEAD. Both ancient and modern the album clicks and beats around a consciousness, space and time of it’s own.

Firm favourites with both deconstructed backpackers, the aforementioned cLOUDDEAD, and post rockers such as Mogwai
(Hood have toured with both) each Hood release is an ongoing and ever more confident statement of intent: a half-remembered walk in the country, an unexpected chord sequence, a band sounding like no other standing on its own.

ตอนบ่าย ผมไปสยาม เพื่อจะไปหาซื้อวงนี้แหละ แต่ร้านป้า โดเรมีไม่เปิดเซ็งเลย เลยเดินไป ดีเจสยาม เพื่อซื้อวง goose วงนี้เห็นในห้องนอกกระแสเชียร์น่าดูแต่ยังไม่ได้ฟังหรอก เพราะผมต้องแปลงเป็น mp3 ก่อนผมจะได้ฟังสะดวก โอเคยิ่งเขียนยิ่งยาว ผมมีงานยุ่ง…ไปละ

hood ฟังแล้วชอบมาก
โหลดมาจะครบแล้วเนี่ย อิๆ
ส่วน goose ก็ชอบมากเหมือนกัน
แล้วหา epic45 ได้มากกว่าเดิมป่าวอะ
