ที่ไทยคงจะเพิ่งผ่านวันพ่อไปแล้ว.. แต่ที่อเมริกา วันนี้ยังเป็นวันพ่ออยู่...

ปีที่แล้ว เราส่งเพลงนี้ให้พ่อ เพราะคิดว่าเหมาะกับพ่อมากที่สุด.. ปีนี้ เราก็ยังคงคิดถึงเพลงนี้ว่าเหมาะกับพ่อเรามากที่สุด
เพลงนี้เป็นเพลงที่แปลก เราไม่รู้ว่าเรารู้จักเพลงนี้ได้ยังไง ได้เพลงนี้มาได้ยังไง ตอนนั้นเราแค่จะ backup ข้อมูลใน harddrive และเราก็เจอเพลง proud of you ซึ่งเราก็ไม่เคยฟังมาก่อน แต่พอฟังครั้งแรก.. เหมือนน้ำตาจะเอ่อๆ คิดถึงพ่อ ... เห็นภาพ เด็กผู้หญิง3-6 ขวบ วิ่งเล่นโดยมีพ่อดูแลอยู่ไม่ห่าง
แปลกที่.. ไม่ว่าจะเป็น mv หรือ clips ต่างๆ ใน youtube จะเป็นภาพคู่รัก แต่.. ไม่ว่าเราจะอ่านเนื้อเพลงนี้กี่รอบก็ตาม เราก็คิดเพลงนี้แหละคือเพลงที่ลูกอยากจะร้องให้พ่อ
เรามาถึงจุดนี้ได้ก็เพราะพ่อสนับสนุนเรามาตลอด แม้ว่าเราจะไม่ได้เลือกในทางที่พ่ออยากให้เดิน แต่พ่อก็ไม่ขัดขวางเรา ....
