Now I getting better and more comfortable to be L&D nurse so I went to applied the job at private hospital , now I have to learn how to do Vaginal exam,with private hospital ,nurse will evaluate pt and called report to OBS ,at this time I learn a lot about L&D nurse ,I know how to interprete the Fetal monitor , NRP certifiction. scrub for c/section(even now most place have OR tech ,it still good to know how ,so you can do it when emergency) ,cercualate for c/secton and cerculate for delivery , we should know where and what supplied we will need in OR and delivery room ,because you will be responsible and when the bad baby come out ,you not ready you will be in the hot pot and you will feel so bad if you can not help pt or baby because of you lack of supplied for emergency or you unable to function in the emergency , work in L&D is fun you see parent so happy when they saw a healthy baby cry ,but it like hell if the baby came out and we can not help the baby and mother ,if we cannot help it ,then it not that bad ,but if it because we did not have enough supplied or not act promply we lost in the part of our practice then we will feel guilty for life ,so I like to tell my dear friend who work in this field that you must check all supplied and equipment ,make sure it work properly ,and ready for emergency anytime ,we should check all the time when we start the shift and their some equiptment and supplied that we required to check every 1 st of the month,it will make you less stress when the emergency comes and work together help each other as a team is a key to make job easier and we will be so happy with the outcome ,when our friend busy we help when your turn come they all will come to help you too, I did see some nurse just sit when she not busy and not help anybody when her turn come she will be alone too, but reality is we take care both mother and baby so all the staff will run help each other no one want to see the mother or baby get hurt or not make it , all my time I work in L&D I do enjoyed working with my friend and have a good memory with all ,we do have some moment but when emergency we all help each other for the mother and baby sake that the part of being L&D nurse that I love
