Strawberry Jam
Ingredients
- 500 g strawberries
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 cups sugar
Microwave Method
- Cut strawberries in half, remove leafy ends &
place into a microwave safe bowl, covering with
cling wrap
- Pierce & cook on high for 4 mins
- Mash strawberries into a pulp
- Add lemon juice, sugar & stir well
- Cook on high (uncovered) for 20 mins,
stirring occasionally
- Ifthe mixture looks like boiling over,
reduce to medium
- Let stand for 5 mins, stir & pour into hot,
sterilised jars
- When cool, seal & label
