วีคแรกแห่งการเปิดเทอมปี 3 ผ่านไปแล้ว
เข้าสู่วีคสอง (ที่ค่อย ๆ เริ่มเรียนแบบทยอยวันต่อวัน วิชาต่อวิชา)

แต่เรื่องบล็อกแปลเพลงยังไม่ทิ้ง...และยังจัดการเวลาต่าง ๆ ได้อยู่หมัด

ช่วงนี้เป็นช่วงสุดท้ายของเดือนกรกฎาคมแล้ว
ขอเสนอบทเพลง ๆ หนึ่งที่กระแทกอารมณ์

Broken Wings เป็นเพลงของวงร็อกจากอเมริกา อยู่ในอัลบั้มชุด Welcome to the Real World
ทั้งเพลง (ที่มีการตัดซิงเกิลนี้) และอัลบั้มวางแผงในปี 2528

เพลงนี้เป็นงานเขียนของมือเบสและนักร้องนำ ริชาร์ด เพจ (Richard Page) ร่วมกับมือคีย์บอร์ด สตีฟ จอร์จ (Steve George) และ จอห์น แลง (John Lang)
ทั้งวงร่วมกันดูแลการผลิตกับวิศวกรเสียง พอล  เดวิลเลีอยรส์ (Paul DeVilliers)

เพลงนี้เป็นเพลงแรกของวงที่ติดอันดับ 1 บน Billboard Hot 100
(โดยเพลงที่สองที่ทำสำเร็จคือ Kyrie ที่ผมเคยนำเสนอเมื่อ 2 ปีก่อน ไปดูได้นะครับ)

เพลงนี้ไดัรับแรงบันดาลใจจากกบทกวีที่มีชื่อเดียวกันกับเพลงนี้
ซึ่งเป็นงานประพันธ์ของคาห์ลีล จิบราน
