The main reason for price differences in suits is the fabric that they are made with. The cheapest suit option would be one made from polyester, this fabric does not move as well as wool and it also does not breath as well as wool. These days you can pick up a 100% polyester made suit for around €100 which is very reasonable.

The next suit fabric is arguably the most popular choice. Suits made with both wool and polyester have become very popular in recent times. They have been dubbed the middle of the road suits because the mix in fabrics makes them longer lasting suits that are very suitable for business men in today's working world. In the current market you would pick up a very nice polyester and wool business suit for around €200. A benefit of buying a polyester and wool suit is that they never wrinkle but unfortunately they also do not breathe as well as pure wool suits either.

The most expensive suits are made from super fine weight wools. They are more expensive because the fabric is very breathable and light weight compared to others. A disadvantage of buying a super fine weight wool suit is that it will not last as long as other suits made from alternative fabrics and they must be dry cleaned a lot more. They also wrinkle much easier than other suits too. This type of suit is mainly worn for special occasions like weddings, graduation balls and other black tie events. A few years ago, to purchase an item made from these fine fabrics would have cost anything from €600 and up. In the current market the price has dropped but it is still significantly more expensive than other cheaper choices available to customers.
