วิธีการดู Mail Delayed

"คุณๆๆๆ คือต้นทางส่ง e-mail มาให้ตั้งนานแล้ว ทำไมเพิ่งถึงเอง Server คุณเป็นอะไรหรือเปล่า"

นี่เป็นอีกประโยคนึงที่ Call Center อย่างเราๆ ได้ยินกันเป็นประจำเรื่อง Mail Delay นะคะ
ไอเรารึก็ไม่รู้ว่าเป็นที่เราหรือเป็นที่ใคร แล้วเราจะตรวจสอบ Mail Delay ตรงนี้ให้ลูกค้าได้ยังไง
กันดีล่ะคะ? มาดูวิธีกันดีกว่า

การตรวจสอบเบื้องต้นให้เราดูที่ Header ของ Email ค่ะ ถ้าลูกค้าใช้ Outlook Express
ให้คลิกขวาที่ E-mail ที่ต้องการดู Header นั้นแล้วเลือก Properties จะปรากฎหน้าต่างขึ้น
หลังจากนั้นให้ไปที่ Tab Details นั่นแหละค่ะคือ Header

การดู Header เราจะไล่จากข้างล่างขึ้นข้างบนค่ะ เรามาดูตัวอย่างกัน

อันนี้เป็น header นึงที่ลูกค้า Copy ส่งมาให้ดูค่ะ จุดสังเกตคือจุดที่เป็นตัวหนังสือสีแดงค่ะ

สังเกตได้ว่าที่ Server uti-thai.com ได้รับ E-mail มาตอน 17:56:28 แต่กว่าจะมาถึง
noc3.win.co.th (ไม่ใช่ของ cs) ที่เวลา 22:26:42 เป็นระยะเวลาที่ค่อนข้างนาน
และถ้าไล่ขึ้นไปอีก จาก noc3.win.co.th ไปจนถึงสุดท้ายเลย ห่างกันเพียงไม่กี่นาทีเท่านั้นเอง
นั่นแสดงให้เห็นแล้วค่ะว่า Mail ไม่ได้ Delay ที่เราค่ะ
