เรื่องเล่าของเนะโกะมะตะ แตกต่างกันไปตามแต่ละพื้นที่ บ้างก็เชื่อว่าเนะโกะมะตะจะกินแม้กระทั่งเจ้านายของตัวเอง และการที่ทิ้งแมวไว้กับศพเป็นเรื่องที่เสี่ยงมาก เพราะมันอาจจะปลุกศพให้คืนชีพและควบคุมศพได้ แต่ขณะเดียวกันก็มีเรื่องเล่าถึงเนะโกะมะตะ ซึ่งหลงรักเจ้านายตน และแปลงร่างเป็นสาวงามเพื่อใช้ชีวิตด้วย

In the present Japanese people are believe in this mamoko fairy tale ? And in the past the mamoko was appear and had any one fould mamoko I'm the one who interesting in cat and fair tale thank you
