The Gunung Brinchang trail takes you to the summit of
the highest peak in the Highlands. While it is an
adventurous trail, more suitable for the fit who enjoy
a challenging climb, the peak of Mount Brinchang boasts
a spectacular view of the surrounding undulating hills of
the Highlands on a clear day. Towards the peak itself,
the middle of the trail passes through the fairy-like
mossy forest, a rare upper mountain forest area that due
to its structure and appearance is sometimes referred
to as the elfin or dwarf forest.

On Easter Sunday, March 26, 1967, Jim Thompson set out
from the Moonlight Cottage for a mid-afternoon stroll in the
jungle; at that point the Thai Silk King stepped out of myth
into legend as he was never seen again. Thus, it is with
pleasure that we present Cameron Highlands Resort
Signature Trail; the 'Jim Thompson Mystery Trail'
which combines his passion for the surrounding hills
with the mysterious circumstances of his disappearance.

รถตู้ของโรงแรมพามาส่งที่จุดนึง ตรงเชิงป่า
แล้วไกด์พาเดินเข้าป่า เล่าเรื่องราวของ Jim Thompson ให้ฟัง
ตกลงตอนนี้ก็ยังไม่มีใครทราบสาเหตุที่ Jim Thompson หายตัวไป
บ้างก็ว่าเค้ายังมีชีวิตอยู่

ไม่ได้ถ่ายรูปอะไรมากมาย
ถ่ายพวกต้นไม้ กับดอกไม้ป่ามานิดหน่อย

ตั้งใจกันไว้ตั้งแต่วันแรกแล้ว
อ้อ! กลับมาถึงโรงแรม พนักงานนำเครื่องดื่ม
กับผ้าร้อนมาเสิร์ฟ พร้อมกับรองเท้าแตะให้เปลี่ยน
แล้วเค้าเอารองเท้าที่เราใส่ไปเดินป่า ที่เปื้อนโคลน
ใส่ถุงพลาสติก นำไปซักให้ (ฟรีด้วย)
ประทับใจมาก บริการดีจัง

เซ็ท High Tea ราคา 60RM สำหรับ 2 คน
มีชาสองกา เค้ก สโกน แซนวิช
เราสองคนก็ถือว่ากินนี่เป็นอาหารเย็นซะเลย
ไหนๆ ก็หกโมงแล้ว

โรงแรมแถวๆนี้มีเสิร์ฟ high tea ทุกแห่งเลย
เหมือนเป็นวัฒนธรรมที่ได้มาจากพวกอังกฤษ

ตกตั้งแต่เช้า กว่าจะหยุดห้าโมงครึ่ง

เราไม่รู้ว่าจะไปไหนกันดี ก็เลยออกทานไป brunch กัน
ที่ Cameron Valley Tea House - Cameron Bharat Plantations

ระหว่างทางที่จะกลับที่พัก เราแวะโรงแรมอื่นๆ
และร้านอาหารอีกหลายแห้ง เพื่อวางแผนว่าเย็นนี้
เราจะกินที่ไหนกันดี

มีแห่งนึงที่แวะ แล้วเราชอบมาก
โรงแรมตกแต่งน่ารัก แถมมีสวนสวยๆอีกด้วย

หลังจากนั้นเราแวะ Healthy Strawberry Farm
จริงๆ ก็อยู่ใกล้ๆ ที่พักนั่นแหละ
แวะเดินเล่น ถ่ายรูป ชมต้นไม้ ดอกไม้ไปเพลินๆ

เย็นนี้ เราเดินไปกินดินเนอร์กันที่ Casa dela Rosa Hotel
เราสั่งเสต๊ก หลังจากที่ไม่ได้กินเนื้อ อะไรหนักๆ มาหลายวัน
ที่ปีนังก็เข้าร้านมังสวิรัติซะหลายมื้อ
เป็นครั้งแรกในชีวิตที่กินเสต๊กชิ้นขนาดนี้หมด
คุณสามีประหลาดใจมาก เราเองก็ประหลาดใจตัวเองเหมือนกัน ^^
