A fulfilling experience, I am indulged by this opera. The production is just great and the crews are flawless. Carlo Ventre got a special place in my heart. He can pull the high note effortlessly and perfect the two most awaited arias ( Recondita Armonia, E lucevan le stelle) with roars of approval from the crowd. Tosca herself does not disappoint the expectant fans. But from my notice, the specators (mostly seniors) do not express much enthusiasm for the show, many of them hurriedly get out of the hall just before the curtain call start and I don't hear the frenzied 'bravo' like other great productions either. Maybe old people tend to be more reserved.
