"สกายริม" คว้าเกมแห่งปีเวทีนักพัฒนาเกม

ตามคาด The Elder Scrolls V คว้ารางวัลเกมแห่งปีจากงานประชุมนักพัฒนาเกม ด้าน Portal 2 กวาด 3 รางวัล ส่วนแพลตฟอร์ม Fez คว้ารางวัลใหญ่จากงานประกาศรางวัล Independent Games Festival

งานประชุมนักพัฒนาประจำปี 2012 เริ่มขึ้นแล้วเมื่อวันพุธที่ผ่านมา หนึ่งในไฮไลท์ของงานก็คือการประกาศรางวัล "Game Developers Choice Awards" ครั้งที่ 12 ซึ่งคราวนี้พิธีกรในงานก็คือ Cliff Bleszinski แห่งเอปปิกเกม

เกม "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" สามารถคว้ารางวัลเกมแห่งปีได้ โดย "ท๊อด โฮเวิร์ด" ขึ้นมารับรางวัลบนเวทีพร้อมกับเหล่าทีมพัฒนา โดยท๊อดได้กล่าวยกความดีความชอบของรางวัลให้กับทีมงานทั้งหมดที่่ร่วมแรงร่วมใจในการพัฒนาเกมให้ออกมาดีที่สุด

นอกจากเกม Skyrim ที่ได้รับรางวัลใหญ่ไปแล้ว เกม Portal 2 ยังได้รับรางวัลดีไซน์เกมยอดเยี่ยม , เสียงเกมยอดเยี่ยม และบรรยายเกมยอดเยี่ยม ด้าน Supergiant Games สามารถคว้ารางวัลเกมดาวน์โหลดยอดเยี่ยมและเกมเปิดตัวยอดเยี่ยมจากเกม Bastion บนเครื่องพีซี และ Xbox360 นอกจากนั้นจะมีรางวัลพิเศษที่มอบให้กับเหล่านักพัฒนาเกมอย่าง Dave Theurer (Missile Command, Tempest), วอร์เรน สเปคเตอร์ ผู้ก่อตั้งสตูดิโอ Junction Point (Epic Mickey, Deus Ex) รวมถึง Ken Doroshow และ Paul M. Smith สองนักกฏหมายที่ต่อสู้เพื่อรักษาผลประโยชน์ของอุตสาหกรรมเกม

ก่อนหน้าการประกาศรางวัล "Game Developers Choice Awards" ได้มีการประกาศรางวัล Independent Games Festival Awards ครั้งที่ 14 ซึ่งเป็นรางวัลที่สนับสนุนให้เกิดนวัตกรรมการสร้างเกมและส่งเสริมนักพัฒนาเกมอิสระที่มีความโดดเด่น ซึ่งรางวัลใหญ่ Seumas McNally Grand Prize Award ตกเป็นของแพลตฟอร์ม Fez ที่สร้างโดย Phil Fish
