Around 80 contestants from all over the world will arrive in Bangkok (Thailand) on November 3rd and 4th, to take part in the festivities leading up to the crowning of the very first Miss Grand International on November 19th at the Beauty Thunderdome.
The beauties will participate in an official press conference to be held Nov. 5th, and will also visit points of interest in the city of Bangkok as well as a meeting with Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinnawatra.
On November 7th the group heads off to Chiang Mai, where they will visit its world-famous temples and will also meet with local authorities. Chiang Mai will also be host to the Miss Grand Best National Costume Competition.
On November 9th the contestants travel to Pattaya, which will play host to the Best in Swimsuit competition.
On November 12th the entire group will return to Bangkok to prepare for the world finals and to attend some special events such as a Charity gala dinner (where each delegate will present a gift from her own country), and a fashion show wearing Thai dresses.
A preliminary competition will take place on November 17th, to be televised on Channel 7; and the grand finals on November 19th with a live telecast via Channel 7 and associated networks in Asia.
