Unfortunately, they just meet each other on each passing day.

Parents don’t really want to...

Since they also need to watch over their children.

But life couldn’t inevitably survive from death.

“Bangkae Elderly Nursing Home” might have been the last place where many parents’ lives rely on for over 63 years from June 1st, 1953 by the establishment of Field Marshal Plaek Pibulsongkram, the Prime Minister of Thailand at that time. This first nursing home is under the supervision of the government offering welfare in the form of an elderly institution. Bangkae Elderly Nursing Home aims at housing for the poor elderly, those elderly experiencing the misery or suffering from homelessness, lacking of foster care or living unhappily with the family. It was also founded to ease the burden of families with low income and cannot raise the elderly in their families as well as to preserve Thai tradition in terms of embracing and supporting the elderly by expressing our gratitude to them.

Currently, there are about 220 seniors living together here: 50 men and 170 women. The nursing home has been organized to make these elderly feel that they are valuable and can continue their living happily. In addition, it has been formed so that the elderly can socialize with one another and remain active participants in their daily lives.

              Similarly to this special moment, when Miss Grand International Organization, led by two beautiful ladies, Anea Garcia, Miss Grand International 2015 and Pormai, Rattikorn Kunsom, Miss Grand Thailand 2015, made their warm visit at Bangkae Elderly Nursing Home to encourage and support these seniors  including donation of necessary supplies, namely, adult diapers, milk, detergent, dishwashing liquid, and so on.

In addition, both Anea Garcia and Rattikorn Kunsom had very warm and friendly talks with the elderly encouraging them to continue their living strongly and happily. After the two beauties chatted with the elderly for a while, they departed the nursing home in the evening. The visit at Bangkae Elderly Nursing Home of Anea Garcia and Pormai, Rattikorn Kunsom has ended up with such deep impression among the elderly at the nursing home. Likewise our two beauties, Anea Garcia and Rattikorn Kunsom have already recorded their invaluable experience which is filled with the friendship between two generations very impressively.
