This beanie that i made for my daughter very easy for beging to knit.
Beanie.(size fits head 54,56)
Using 4.00mm needles and cast on 122(128) sts.
1st row *k1,p1rep from *to end cont in rip until work measures 9(13)cm from beg,working last row on wrong side.
Shape top.
1st row-k1*k2tog,rib 18(20),k2tog,rib18(18),rep from *to last st,p1 116(122)sts.
2nd row-k1*rib17(17),k2tog,rib17(19)k2tog,reb from *to last st p1 110(116)sts.
3rd row-k1*k2tog,rib16(18),k2tog.rib16(16),reb from*to last st,p1 104(110)sts.
4th row-k1,*rib 15(15),k2tog,rib15(17)k2tog,k2tog,rep from*to last st p198(104)sts.
Cont dec in this manner in every row until 20 sts rem.
(p2tog)10 times 10 sts Break off yarn.
