Scholarships - ทุนออสเตรเลีย มีหลายต่อหลายคนที่พยายาม search หา ทุนออสเตรเลียใช่มั้ยคะ จริงๆ แล้วก่อนหน้านี้ แอ้ก็เป็นหนึ่งในนั้นเหมือนกัน เท่าที่ดูๆ ก็พอมีทุนอยู่บ้าง แม้จะไม่เยอะเท่าทุนเรียนต่อประเทศในยุโรป และอเมริกาก็ตาม ...ลองดูนะคะว่ามีทุนที่คุณสนใจอยู่บ้างมั้ย... ขอพูดถึงทุนของUTAS ก่อนดีกว่า ก็แอ้เรียนอยู่ที่นี่นี่นา (แหะ แหะ โฆษณาสถาบัน ไม่ได้รับเปอร์เซ็นต์ค่าหัว อะไรหรอกค่ะ) ที่นี่มีทุนหลายประเภทค่ะ แต่เท่าที่แอ้ทราบ ก็เห็นจะเป็นทุน 25% แบบที่แอ้ได้รับอยู่ เป็นทุนสำหรับผู้ที่กำลังจะเรียนต่อ ป.โท โดยมี เกรดเฉลี่ยจาก ป.ตรีไม่ต่ำกว่า 3.00 และมีผลสอบ IELTS แล้วอย่างต่ำ 6.0 (all bands) ค่ะ ซึ่งจากปกติต้องจ่ายเทอมละ $8,000 (coursework) ก็จะ เหลือเพียง $6,000 นะคะ อย่างเช่นหลักสูตร MBA ที่แอ้เรียนอยู่ ระยะเวลา 1.5 ปี ค่าเทอมรวมทั้งหมด $18,000 (กรณีได้ทุน 25%) ค่ะ *เข้าไปศึกษารายละเอียดเพิ่มเติมได้ที่นี่ค่ะ (หรือ scroll down ลงไปดูข้าง ล่างก็ได้ค่ะ list ทุนบางส่วนไว้ให้แล้วนะ) //www.studentcentre.utas.edu.au/scholarships/ *สมัครขอทุนได้อย่างไร //www.studentcentre.utas.edu.au/scholarships/booklet/HowToApply2008.pdf *ดาวโหลดใบสมัครที่นี่ค่ะ //www.international.utas.edu.au/documents/InternationalApplicationForm2007_003.pdf **หมายเหตุ: ตอนนี้ UTAS ได้ขึ้นค่าเทอม (Tuition fee) สำหรับปี 2008 แล้วนะคะ ใครสนใจหาข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมว่าต้องจ่ายค่าเทอมต่อปีเท่าไหร่ เข้า ไปดูที่นี่เลยค่ะ //www.international.utas.edu.au/static/courseFees/index.php อีกหนึ่งที่ที่ทราบและจ้องๆ เอาไว้ก่อนเลือกมาเรียนที่ UTAS คือ ทุนของมหาวิทยาลัย Central Queensland University (CQU)...เค้ามอบทุนส่วนลด 33% ให้กับ International students ที่ประสงค์จะเรียนหลักสูตร MBA (สำหรับเรียนที่สาขา Rockhampton เท่านั้น) แล้วก็มีทุน Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship (20%) มอบให้สำหรับนักเรียนต่างชาติที่มีผลการเรียนดีและต้องการศึกษาต่อระดับ ป.ตรี และ ป.โท (เรียนได้ทั้งสาขา Rockhampton และ Gold Coast) ...แต่ด้วยความที่แอ้อยากมาอยู่ที่หนาวๆ เงียบสงบ ธรรมชาติ ก็เลยไม่ได้เลือกเรียนที่ CQU ค่ะ เลือก UTAS ที่ Hobart แทน ซึ่งก็ได้รับทุนส่วนลด 25% ไม่ค่อยต่างกันเลย... ทั้งนี้ แอ้ได้รวบรวมทุนประเภทต่างๆ นอกเหนือจากนี้มาไว้ให้เลือกศึกษาด้วยนะคะ ลองอ่านๆ และคลิก link เข้าไปดูกันนะจ๊ะ 1. Tasmanian International Scholarship (TIS) > ทุนนี้เป็นทุนเดียวกับที่เขียนไว้ข้างบนน่ะค่ะ - 25% off the registered tuition fees for the entire course, including an honours year - Available to all undergraduate degrees except Medicine, and to Foundation Studies and postgraduate coursework programs - Applicants can apply for start of year or mid year intakes Awarded on academic achievements in secondary, diploma or degree level courses - How to Apply All applicants who complete an International Application Form to study at UTAS are assessed for a scholarship and are notified in writing if they have been successful. 2. Tasmanian International Scholarship for Sisters and Brothers - 10% fee reduction for second student in family - Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students - For students who previously had or currently have a brother or sister studying at UTAS will receive a 10% reduction in fees for their study program. (If a student has already been offered one of the Tasmanian International Scholarships (TIS) this will not apply) - How to Apply Students must ensure they have answered the question on the International Application Form regarding brothers and sisters enrolled at UTAS. You will be contacted by International Services to complete the relevant documentation. 3. Tasmanian International Scholarship for Second course - 10% fee reduction for postgraduate Masters by coursework after completion of first degree at University of Tasmania. (If a student has already been offered one of the Tasmanian International Scholarships (TIS) this will not apply) - 10% fee reduction for degree program after completion of Foundation Program at University of Tasmania. Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (EIPRS) - For postgraduate research students for study in Masters or PhD - Apply to University of Tasmania - Covers tuition fees (normally 3 years for a doctorate and 2 years for Masters degree) and basic health care cover for scholarship holder and dependants (if dependants are travelling to Australia) - Applicaitons for 2009 are not currently being accepted. - Applications close September 5. Thomas Crawford Memorial Scholarship - For postgraduate research for students from nominated countries - Apply to University of Tasmania - Applications close in June 6. Menzies Research Institute Postgraduate Research Scholarship - For postgraduate research in epidemiology and population health - Closing date October - Apply to University of Tasmania - Application formavailable September on graduate research web site 7. IDP Peace Scholarship - For undergraduate students from nominated countries for one or two semesters - May include pre course English language - Apply to IDP 8. Australian Development Scholarship ADS - For students from nominated countries in Asia, Pacific and Africa regions - For students in postgraduate research and coursework, and some undergraduate - Priority areas education, health, natural resource management and governance - Students apply to AusAID and nominate study at University of Tasmania 9. Australian Leadership Awards Scholarship ALA - For postgraduate students with leadership potential from nominated countries - Awards are open to all fields of study. Priority themes are international trade, pandemics, security, climate change including clean energy - Students apply to University of Tasmania for Offer and then to AusAID for scholarship - Applications close with AusAID in July *Applications for the 2009 ALA intake open on 01 April 2008 and close 30 June 2008. 10. Australian Council for International Agricultural Research ACIAR - For postgraduate research in agriculture for students from nominated countries - Priority themes: meeting rising demand for animal protein, improving the productivity and efficiency of food crop and forestry systems, better environments from better agriculture, linking farmers to markets - Students apply to ACIAR for John Allwright Fellowship Applications close in March and August each year 11. Crown Princess Mary Scholarship for Danish students on exchange to UTAS - International exchange students from partner Universities in Denmark (Aarhus University, University of Copenhagen and University of Southern Denmark) can apply for a Crown Princess Mary Scholarship. One scholarship will be awarded each year, and students should apply to their home University to be nominated. - Tasmanian students can apply for the Crown Princess Mary Scholarship to study on exchange at the University of Copenhagen. Apply to the UTAS Scholarships office. 12. Tasmania Scholarships for commencing students - International students who have completed Years 11 and 12 in Australia and who have a tertiary entrance score can apply for a scholarship and will be considered alongside other applicants. สวัสดีค่ะคุณมิว...เอ่อ..อันนี้แอ้คงต้องขอถามก่อนค่ะว่า คุณมิวจะเรียนระดับไหน และสาขาไหนเอ่ย ปีครึ่งนี่หมายถึงหลักสูตร MBA หรือเปล่าคะ...ส่วนเรื่องทุน ขึ้นอยู่กับว่าเราสมัครเองโดยตรงกับทางมหาลัย (ผ่านทาง internet หรือ จม.) หรือว่า สมัครผ่าน agency เช่น IDP...โดยส่วนตัวแอ้แล้ว แอ้สมัครผ่าน IDP ค่ะ เจ้าหน้าที่ที่นี่ประสานงานให้หมดเลย โดยไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่ายใดๆ (ไม่ได้โฆษณานะคะ) แต่ว่า แอ้เองก็เข้าไปขอรายละเอียดจาก IDP แล้วก็ให้พี่ๆ ที่นู่นเค้า process ให้หมดเลยอ่ะค่ะ เรามีหน้าที่แค่เพียงศึกษาข้อมูลแล้วก็เตรียมเอกสารให้พร้อม ตัดสินใจให้ถูกว่าจะเลือกที่ไหนเท่านั้นเอง   โดย: cadeau 4 กันยายน 2551 18:54:00 น.

พอดีว่าตอนนี้จะขึ้นปีสี่เทอมสองแล้ว อยากหาทุนปริญญาโทปี2009 (ปีหน้า) แต่ก็กลัวว่ายังพูดไม่ได้เท่าไหร่เลยค่ะ ก็เลยมองๆคอร์สภาษาที่ไม่แพงๆดู แต่ก็ยังหาไม่เจอเลยค่ะ แล้วของคุณแอ้นี่เรียนปริญญาโท ต้องปรับพื้นฐานภาษาอังกฤษก่อนมั้ยค่ะ และเท่าๆที่ดูทุนตามที่ต่างๆก็ดูเหมือนจะปิดไปแล้วบ้าง หรือบางอย่างก็อ่านไม่เข้าใจหน่ค่ะ รบกวนด้วยนะคะ   โดย: มิว IP: 161.200.255.162 6 กันยายน 2551 0:04:01 น.
